This is my go to place for korean sashimi. Always the freshest around the block for sashimi togo. However they did jack up the price quite a bit so im not sure if its the best bang for the bucks :)

We came on a Wednesday night. First off, for those that seldom frequent ktown for food, the plaza is tiny. The parking is triple parked. When I got there I was so confused but there wasn't any street parking so I stuck my car in a spot. What happens if the two cars parked in front of me needs to leave I wondered. Well the restaurant had scrap paper at the counter for you to write your cell # to place on your windshield. If someone u blocked in wants to leave, they will call u to move your car which totally happened to me mid dinner. So my friend and I went outside to do musical car shuffle. If you aren't used to reversing in tight spots in your car, you may have issues. Now for the food. The menu on the wall is in Korean but they gave us an English menu once they realized we weren't korean. Everything was super fresh. We got the $200 combo that feeds 3-4 and ordered an extra salmon roll. There was so much food we couldn't finish it all. We saw the owner come and net up a big halibut for our sashimi. The meat was so good with the diff dipping sauces. All the raw seafood we had were fantastic. At the end of the meal, we got some very very spicy noodle with fish, kimchi soup and burnt rice porridge. Overall it was a delicious experience.

In Koreatown, except for sushi, this place is the most delicious. The delivery is also fast. But the price... If you add something to the cow size of $129, $200 just comes out. for the priceThe side dishes are seriously lacking.Recommended for those who only eat sashimi.

Their speciality is the halibut sashimi -- super fresh and with amazing texture. It's also a lot, so bring friends! The sides and other seafood was okay.

First of all, sashimi and food are so delicious. However, there are not many seats, so you have to go early. They don't take reservations well, but if you do, make sure to arrive on time. The two of them work so the turnover is slow, but they are still neat and friendly. The taste is the same as Korean taste.

Although it isn’t a customer’s responsibility to acknowledge how a business intends to make profit, I don’t think the majority people who wrote negative reviews really understand how much hustle this place is putting into survival. To me, it just seemed like a seafood restaurant with 16 seats without a liquor license is trying it’s best to keep their door open. Staffs(highly possibly owners of the business) are obviously veterans of their works and I felt very comfortable eating here. They’re offering reasonable prices for their menu items to make up for not having a liquor license which is very generous of them.I hope this place never closes because it’s one of the only restaurants in K-town that’s fun to BYOB yet doesn’t charge any corkage fee.

One of the best places in ktown for korean style fresh sashimi. A very, very much of a hole in the wall place that has been around for 10+ years.Smallest size fresh sashimi (only) is $115 and smallest size sashimi combo (including abalone, other seafood, uni rice, spicy soup etc) is $129. Plenty of food for a male + female, maybe a little bit small portions for two males.A Korean couple running the business. There are about 5 tables even though this place specializes in take outs. Service is not the fastest but it's not slow either. Overall, a pleasant and comfortable dinner experience.General table setup is concise but all dishes are extremely delicious and fresh, everything from appetizers to the main dish (fresh halibut sashimi) and spicy seafood soup to top it all off.**They do NOT sell alcohol but have glasses ready for you if you bring your own. Make sure to buy some from the local Korean markets or the liquor store next door in the same plaza. I honestly really like this as your bill comes out significantly lower if you are a drinker (if you don't drink when eating Korean style sashmi, there would be something wrong with you anyway).Only con is that the menu is only written in Korean, so it would be a naturally difficult experience for non-Koreans.

Read this. Service is NOT friendly. These previous reviews are from a couple years ago, and these people changed. I’m never a “customer is king” person and never will be; however, as a human, if you are working as a server to serve your food, then use some respect. Rude to the maximum. No smiles. Throwing plates on the tables. If you don’t want any customers then say so. Never coming again for this disrespect. I don’t make money to pay someone to give disrespect. Everyone read and don’t come. They don’t clean empty plates and just piles them up and leaves it there too.

Came here with my family to eat and have a good time, but the whole time we were here they had horrible customer service. The lady told us that they ended at 9 PM and so she kept giving us side eyes and rude manners to hint for us to hurry and leave, but when table next to us asked for more food she spreads kindness. The absolute disrespect is disgusting. I don’t care if I’m new here or old here, I don’t think an owner should do that to their customers.

I came on a wednesday and they were out of a lot - uni bowl, shrimp, sashimi bowl. Only tried the abalone which was really fresh. They say they restock on friday or saturday.
