I teach at a nearby elementary school, and this is our go-to spot for staff celebrations and happy hours. DELICIOUS food, good drinks, and always a fun time. I am grateful for the modern and exciting vegetarian options.

This is a solid place in the neighborhood whose happy hour until 6pm is one of the bests in town. The food is epic in its flavor and the options to make things tacos, burritos or bowls keeps us coming back to try different variations of foods. I suggest the ranch water, the quesadillas and the Baja fish as a burrito. Kevin is a kind server and the bartender is very fun! Cole has the best charisma and is always accommodating with remarkable drinks and kindness.

This place oozes with the smart talents of the nearby UCB Theatre : and Wacky spots like Birds next door!

Had a quick meal here before a show at Hollywood Bowl. Tried the Roasted Cauliflower Shawarma Bowl and it was excellent. Hearty portion and well balanced with beans, onions, guac, salsa, etc. Really tasty. They have a very clearly labeled vegan menu, which is super helpful. Lively spot. Highly recommended.

I got the vegan fish bowl and it was soooo good! A must try!!

There’s decent vegan options here but the execution of the burritos was pretty haphazard. Flavors were a little muted. The service was friendly but spotty.

I came here by myself for happy hour. I ordered the happy hour appetizer wings, and the happy hour appetizer ceviche. Both were bad. I know that this place is known for white people level spice, so that’s not really what I’m complaining about. The wings were wet. Not particularly tasty sauce. I actually had to peer into the ceviche to see if there was actually any fish in it. The pieces were so small. Also, it wasn’t very tasty. It was kind of thick. Not a word I would prefer to use to describe a ceviche. The Agua Fresca was very nice. But all told, this cost me $50. Eating two happy hour appetizers and getting a drink that’s nonalcoholic should not cost that much money. I don’t see myself returning even though it is a neighborhood spot. It’s been this way for years, so I don’t expect it to change. But it would be nice for a real Mexican place to come into the spot at some point.

Food was so bad. The quesabirria tasted like it was marinated in tap water (bleach taste and bland). Greg the owner was kind and helpful. But won't be back.

The best Breakfast Burrito ever!!!
Don't be fooled by the store front size, ample seating available inside, without loosing any of the cozy atmosphere.
Very friendly staff.
Highly recommended!!

Absolutely LOVE this place in Franklin Village. Favorite spot to go when at UCB next door. Everything we’ve had was great and the drinks were strong and tasty. 10/10
