Beautiful boards -- a bit pricey and heavy on the fruit rather than the cheese

We got the date night charcuterie board and loved it. The presentation is unmatched, and you can tell they really care about the quality of the items they put on the board. Every element is top notch, and the service was friendly!

Oof. $19 for a sandwich the size of my palm hurts no matter which way I spin it. The markup on the wines is crazy too (think $40-60 for bottles I have never paid more than $30 for). Feels more like paying for branding than quality. Bummed as I have been excited to try this place for a long time.

We ordered a board from the new Carmel location. The food quality and customer service were amazing. I will be giving them lots of business and can’t recommend them enough!

Had two sandwiches for lunch - they were both awesome and very fresh. Highly recommend!

This is the cutest shop for buying natural wine, cheese, or any other cool girl cookware/homeware items, and I'm happy there's a spot like this on the Westside! I came around lunchtime to try one of their "secret lunch menu" sandwiches and ended up ordering the Hot Girl Salami baguette sandwiches for $12 (since their regular sandwiches were $19). The sandwich was good and was generously stuffed with meat, cheese, and greens, however I wish I ordered the Franch Girl sandwich as the combo of flavors in this sandwich were pretty one-note. I would definitely come back to buy gifts for friends that are into food and wine (and pretty packaging). They had a handful of cookbooks, olive oils, some preserves/sauces, and even beauty products and candles. Bonus points for stocking one of my favorite natty wines, LS Gris by Wavy Wines. It's a very aesthetically pleasing and well curated space, and I'd love to return!

First time trying Lady & Larder - very favorable impression. We ordered a small cheese and charcuterie board along with three sandwiches. The ingredients of the sandwiches are well curated - they all went well together. The board had two soft cheeses, a blue and a hard cheese, along with various charcuterie - I think four different kinds - and lots of accompaniments, like pomegranate seeds, dried figs, dates, apricots, citrus and apple slices, walnuts, cornichons, mustard seeds, small jar of honey, some honeycomb, flowers and other embellishments, and even some small wooden utensils for serving. There's a surcharge for their crackers but they are very good and go well with everything. We had a sourdough loaf from Jyan Isaac as a back up - used about 1/3 of the loaf along with the crackers - YMMV.It's all set on a plywood luan board which is inset in a flat box that is easy to transport and present. Open the lid and most will be impressed. They have other boards: cheese, charcuterie, veggie, fruit and bread&crackers. Their hours are a little narrow - 11AM-3PM. Consequently, planning ahead helps. The small board is sized for 4-6 people, but in my opinion, that's being conservative., especially if you have other food along side (like us with three sandwiches to feed six adults and two kids). Because the board is packaged for easy transport, this is ideal for picnics, parties, the Hollywood Bowl, etc. Lady and Larder is a permanent eatery on my list.

This little cheese and wine shop on Pico is so cutie. They have sandwiches at lunch time from 11-3 which is what we went to try. I got the Cashew Kween but with regular brie cheese because it's a cheese shop. I'm so glad I did because the brie paired with the apricot jam and wild arugula on a baguette was divine. My friend ordered the Hot Girl Salami. She liked her sandwich as well although she wished she had tried the Franch Girl.I also bought a natural wine to try later :)Also, the girl who took our order was very sweet.

Super cute shop. Street metered parking. Some of their items were hit and miss. I wasn't impressed with their bread, not sure what it was called. It was round, huge, heavy and brown. I had a bite and didn't like it, no one else favored it either so it just sat there until it became hard and we trashed it. The baguette bread is super yummy though!!! Delicious for sandwiches.

The cutest little wine, cheese, and sandwich shop! I came for a secret lunch menu sandwich but didn't realize I would get lost in their charming décor and endless knick knacks. It was fun browsing the pre-made assorted cheese and crudité boxes as well as all the aesthetic wine and beers. The storefront stands out amongst its peers with its prideful colors and large lettering. We were on a mission to try one of their secret lunch menu sandwiches (offered between 12pm-3pm daily) so we went with the Submarina and wow was it a delight. The sandwich was heaping with fresh ingredients!! We grabbed a bag of "Rusty's" sea salt chips to eat in tandem with the sandwich and of course ended up stuffing the sandwich with some for an extra crunch. The packaging of the sandwich was just cute in itself - the simple pleasures. I can't wait to go back to try their other sandwiches! And maybe even order cheese board for an event!

Just discovered Lady & Larder, and it's our new favorite Santa Monica lunch spot. Amazing selection of wines and cheeses and really creative sandwich menu. Excited to try more of their menu!

This is the cutest place with the nicest staff & tons of goodies. I placed a last minute cheese + charcuterie picnic board & they were SUPER accommodating. Upon pickup, I browsed around & saw they have plenty of options for wine (NA as well), a huge selection of cheese, & carry some of my favorite brands like Brightland/Zabbs, and a few cookbooks. Since I was there, I also decided to try their Garden Society sandwich. The sandwich had a ton of veggies perfectly sliced, great portion of hummus on the yummiest bread. As for the board, it was the perfect size for 2 people, the cheese/meats were delicious, and the fruit tasted fresh and refreshing. I can't wait to try the rest of their menu!

The secret lunch menu sandwiches are incredible!! I got the Day Dreamer, it was turkey on a baguette with the freshest cheese and veg accompaniments! One of the best sandwiches I've had recently and I neeeed to go back to try the other onesThey're also frequently on the too good to go app and I've tried it twice before. Both times I got a country loaf (I think it's from grandmas bread) and a baguette (clark street) for 6$ - both fresh and delicious and such a steal

What a sweet little shop in Santa Monica! Come here to get all the fixins to build your own charcuterie or better yet, order one for pick up! I stopped here before going to a picnic and I got the hot girl salami sandwich and the crudite box to-go. First, everything is so lovely looking. You really do eat with your eyes first. I loved the floral wax paper they used to wrap the sammies in. The sandwich was delicious, exactly what you want when ordering salami; nice and salty but with some fresh produce to round out the overall flavor. The veggies were beautiful in presentation and just as tasty! So glad I finally stopped in. Next time you have a concert at the Hollywood Bowl, come here first to pick up your picnic!
