The cakes here are all style, no substance. Every single one looks beautiful but tastes very very bland. The crepe cakes in particular have an odd, plastic-like texture, and the others are just disappointing!! definitely not what you’d expect from their appearance. To make things worse, they’re overpriced at $15 per tiny slice. It’s clear these cakes come in frozen and are just defrosted on-site, which really impacts the texture and flavor. Save your money unless they improve their recipes and quality.

Management needs to give these sour customer service associates some music or a couple chairs or something. They're looking super miserable on sight.
Didn't order anything but the cakes were $115 or so while the slices average around $11.50 per.
One of the best cake boutiques in LA. Good service, tasty drinks, delicious and beautiful signature and seasonal cakes. However, this location is missing my all time favorite Lady M cake, the mango shortcake cake! It was a seasonal item I was able to order for pickup when it first came out a few years ago. I loved it more than any other cake, but every summer since, this store has not had this cake available. It’s available for pickup in the Bay Area and Vegas, but why not here in LA!? Bring this cake back and I will be sure to order many each summer and increase my rating to 5 stars!

Nowhere near to what it used to be, very disappointing.
$12+ per slice and they won’t even give you a complimentary candle unless you buy an entire cake 🙄
Plus the nerve to ask for a 18%-25% tip at check-out when all the staff does is put the ready-made cake in a box.
Here's some free business advice: Stop being so stingy with your candles that literally cost a few cents and you'll make back multiple times what it costs in tips and goodwill.
Being both stingy and money-grubbing just leaves customers with a bad taste before they even try the product. 0/10 purchasing experience, won't be back.

I visited Lady M for the first time and was the only customer. As I tried to look at the cake options, the male attendant kept rushing me after every item I ordered, repeatedly asking, “Anything else?” It felt like he wanted me out of the store. The moment I paid, two young Asian girls walked in and did the exact same thing I did—browsing slowly—yet he didn’t rush them once. The difference in treatment was clear and racially motivated. The cakes were overly sweet and everything was overpriced. That small drink was $8 and some change. I won’t be returning.

Just visited, unfortunately could not enjoy any cake - he mentioned they stop the table service at 7pm so after 7pm only to go so just FYI
I wasn't able to pick up my order. They stated the policy is to hold for 1 day then it's considered a forfeit. They don't refund your money or send any notice. I will never go back to this place. If they sold my cake then they should refund me or reschedule but non of that occurs they just tell you too bad so sad.

The Baseline: For a desert shop the flavor of offerings must out-weigh the taste of pure sugar, there must be unique/rare offerings that drive me to go there, and the value of the desert must be balanced with the fact I probably just finished a meal.
Food: This is an upscale cake/desert shop with a good selection of different cake slices. The variety is well displayed and I had the Passion Fruit Cheesecake which was very tasty. Looking forward to trying new offerings in future visits.
Service: I had great service at Lady M. The server prepared my order and was good about giving me suggestions.
Ambiance: The seating in the shop is very upscale and is enjoyable when you are looking for something less casual.

Came by Saturday at opening and had the best experience with the friendly and accommodating staff. I didn’t know what I wanted and they were so patient explaining the offerings. I got a matcha cake and they went above and beyond explaining how to preserve the color of the tea. They even offered more matcha to top it off if I wasn’t serving same day.

Crepes are okay if you like overly sweet and bland tasting food. The business is open until 10pm but they would not let us sit down and eat at 9:15 pm despite that they had several open tables and others were sitting down. The space is very nice but it is too bad it is totally off limits to paying customers. Pictures are of the cakes in our kitchen on paper plates because were not allowed to sit down.
