Is you want authentic NY Brooklyn pizza, you come to this place. Prices too high? Ayy forget about it, you can buy by the slice. Since it's right next to a street you have plenty of opportunity to yell, "Ayy I'm walkin' here!"

Pizza here is always good. If you want to make pizza at home buy dough here for great results. If you don't know what you want talk to the friendly staff.

Nothing special. Disappointing
Parking: Drove around 20, 30 minutes trying to find parking. Street meter parking only. Cannot park in whole foods. They were ticketing.

If you are looking for a solid slice of New York-style pizza, this place delivers the goods. The crust was thin and crispy, with just the right amount of chew, and the sauce had a nice balance of sweetness and tanginess. The cheese was gooey and perfectly melted, covering the slice without overwhelming it.
That said, while it was definitely a very good pizza, it didn't quite reach the heights of the top-tier joints you'd find in the city. It lacks that extra something that makes a pizza truly exceptional—the kind of slice that makes you think, "This is what New York pizza is all about."
Overall, it's a great spot if you're in the mood for a classic New York slice, but it's not quite in the same league as the legendary pizzerias. Definitely worth a visit, but it won’t replace your go-to favorite.

Average NY pizza. A little bland tasting, but better than your average LA pizza. Nice atmosphere with the NY subway theme..staff were very friendly.

Went to UCLA as an undergrad from 2006-08. This was a go to spot for a cheap slice but also one of the best slices I’ve had in LA. Almost 20 years later and I still go here when I can, which is not so easy since I live in East LA.
One bite and it always reminds me of my college days, still tastes the same. I love their pepperoni, meat lovers, and mushroom pizzas but you honestly can’t go wrong here.

So damn good!! Never been to NY or had original NY pizza but it's anything like this it damn good. Had the margherita and the flavors were great. The meat lovers and deep dish were also pretty good. If you're in their neighborhood stop by and try them yourself!! The look of the place was pretty cool and the art work was interesting.
Vegetarian options: A few meatless items to choose from.

I absolutely love this place! My husband and I have been coming here for over 6 years, and the staff remember us!
They offer pizza by the slice of various flavors. They have, of course the NY thin crust pizza as well as thicker sicilian. And we enjoy all of the above. Sometimes they don't have what I want available by the slice, and the staff asked me what I wanted and turned a plain cheese slice into exactly what I was craving. They're awesome!
The prices are a little higher than your chain pizza joint, but we are happy to pay it due to the quality, size of slices and whole pies, customer service, and the fact that they are transparent about paying their staff fairly when they increased prices during the pandemic.
The environment is very casual, and emulates images of the New York Subway system. They also have a wall of pictures with famous people who have visited the pizzeria.
This is definitely one of our favorite pizza places and recommend you check it out!
Vegetarian options: If you ask the staff they can make a cheese slice however you want it.
They have a variety of veggies for meatless slices or whole pizzas.
Cheese pizza, margherita pizza, mushroom pizza.
Wheelchair accessibility: Accessing the restaurant directly from the sidewalk is a wheelchair accessible. They also have a ramp for wheelchair access to their outside seating.

Food and service are always A+.
$4.00 per add on for a pizza is insane.
Will come back, begrudgingly, because pizza is so good.

A bit expensive but does the job
This is the best place for a slice in Westwood (go here, not Enzo's). Great atmosphere, great service, and most importantly, great slices.

New Yorker here from the Bronx. I was homesick for a Sicilian slice & my husband (California Native) says to me: “I got you!” Well, he sure did! 9/10! Now I find myself driving all the way from the South Bay just for a slice, monthly!
