Sunday early afternoon, walked in and ordered a bowl of menudo. Would not order that again. The broth was very watered down. It lacks flavor, the tripe needed to be boiled longer it was too chewy. The hominy could have been boiled longer too. It wasn't as soft as I would have hoped for. Although they do give a generous portion of onion and cilantro, it doesn't matter because the menudo itself needs work. The ice tea, was old and I didn't finish it. I want to return to try something else. Not sure what since I was disappointed with my first visit. What a shame too because I really would like to find a place within walking distance from home to get a good bowl of menudo on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Hopefully other things on the menu are worth coming in for. The food was delivered to the table room temperature, it really needed to be served hot! I recommend this place for now, anything other than menudo as the other food served looked good. Just be cautious with any soup.
Very good service
