The Lazy Rose Cafe is a beautiful coffee and light foods spot tucked into the neighborhood. It’s a perfect spot to get away from the busy schedules and take in the moment. The best part for me is that they use the space to celebrate and promote local vendors in the area too. Truly a gem :)

The barista was lovely to chat with and recommended us some of their special drinks and pastries. The lemon cake is some of the best we’ve had, super soft and full of flavor. The upstairs area has comfy armchairs with pillows and seems like a great place to cuddle with a book or hang with friends.

Have driven by this place too many times to count. Finally stopped by last weekend, was glad I did. It looks like there is no parking, but there is a lot behind the building. The owner Rose is warm and friendly. Coffee was great, although food options are somewhat limited to simpler items such as pastries and avocado toast. Give this place a try sometime.

This place is a good vibe inside and out. Upstairs is a vibe and the coffee is amazing. The horchata latte is ⚡. Can't wait to come back and try the cakes.

How cute is this cafe!!! The owners are super friendly. Ms. Yvonne recommended the Iced Peach Light to me and man, did it not disappoint!!! It’s the perfect combo of peach+ espresso!!!! They also have all kinds of goodies if you’re hungry or have a sweet tooth. It’s black owned and they showcase other items from other black businesses on their wall. Definitely returning! ???

This quaint Cafe made my day. The decor is beautiful and the atmosphere is inviting.I was warmly greeted by one of the owners and the employee who worked there who recommended the Ooh La La Lemonade which was both refreshing and delightful lovely to look at. I also had a slice of lemon cake that was warmed up which is a nice touch as I do the same at home.I will be back for sure

Parking: There is a free lot behind the building as well as metered and free street parking on La Brea and in the neighborhood.

My friend and I were looking for a coffee shop to go to and found lazy rose cafe. The drinks are very unique and Rose, the owner, was the sweetest and thought of the drinks on the menu! I had the Hamilton which is matcha, Carmel and espresso. I was blown away by drunk! My friend got an espresso and you can pick the type of foam to go on it! Definitely recommend coming here!

I was in the Mid city area for business and had to stop by the Lazy Rose Cafe to support a small black -women owned businesses. Oh, and it’s a military veteran owned establishment a well, please take my money NOW! I tried the “Hamilton”(Yep, inspired by the modern play) which was a blend of matcha, caramel, and espresso….Absolutely delicious! I was lucky enough to meet the owner, Rose, who explained the process of making this drink and how the flavors complement each other. Listen, I’m no coffee/tea connoisseur but I learned a lot in short time I was there. The space is bright and inviting. You can really tell that she takes pride in her business, and the customer service? Superb! I ended up buying some tea blends that she was nice enough to personalize at my request. She also partners with local black businesses to advertise and sell their products from within her store, dope! There’s an upstairs space as well that can be rented for events.Overall, it was a good experience and I’ll be sure to return when I’m back on that side of town.If you’re looking for a nice place to relax and enjoy a sip, this is your new place.

I came here and ordered a drip coffee. I don't remember the exact name but it was some sort of drip coffee. The employee turns around and puts a K cup in a keurig. I was thinking to myself, are they serious? I tried the coffee and it had no flavor. Super watered down, just tasted like hot water. I've had better black coffees at motels. I also asked for half and half, and they didn't have any? This leads me to believe the other reviews are fake

Talking with the owner of The Lazy Rose ? was delightful. Rose has a beautiful disposition that is warm and engaging personality. I had a butterfly pea tea! I purchased some freshly made lavender syrup. This cafe has Wi-Fi. Plenty of seating down stairs. Looking to have an even? This cafe has a room upstairs for your event. Fresh pastries mmmm ?. A great place to unwind.

I cannot say enough about how much I absolutely love this place. It's so much more than meets the eye from the outside. They take such care and time with their chai latte and it's probably one the best I've ever had.Their drinks are all $5. No matter what. Which I LOVE. The people who work there are wonderful and so nice. They always make me feel welcome, and I want to come back all the time.On my second visit I got to look upstairs and it is SO CUTE! I cannot wait to start bringing my books here on Saturdays to sit back and enjoy reading. Also, the bagels are KILLER (both regular with cream cheese and the pizza bagel).12/10 highly recommend!

Vegetarian options: most of the menu seems vegetarian!

Parking: parking in back

Dietary restrictions: lots of milk options!
