The chicken sandwich is nothing short of divine but this review is all about Ben, who actually picked up the phone when I called (who does that anymore? 🥲), worried that there might be an insane line an hour before closing. He graciously offered to take my order now and have it waiting for me to eat in their little restaurant as soon as I arrived. Ben, where have you been all our lives? Wow! Best fried chicken I can remember, sweet and salty on the outside, PERFECTLY cooked and juicy on the inside. Absolutely incredible. The cornbread was the perfect sweetness level and the Mac and cheese was “chefs kiss” ! Shocked to arrive to see no line, but it allowed us to chat with the team and learn a bit about them. They were even kind enough to give us a cookie on the house. I’ll be back when in LA!

Def the best fried chicken sandwich I've had in LA. They use thigh meat for the cutlet so it's extra juicy. The sauce for the cutlet is delicious, could be hotter, but it had the perfect amount of sweetness. Service was excellent too. Can't wait for another reason to try it again.

My wife found this place on line so when we left Louisiana to visit our son and daughter in law in LA, we had to try it out! I knew with Chef Craig being from Louisiana, the food would not be bland! We were not disappointed! OMG!!! Everything that went in my mouth was awesome! The Chicken Sandwich, the Watermelon Salad, the Southern Sweet Tea, but the Corn Ribs were dipped in some sort of nectar of the God’s!!! You owe it to yourself and your taste buds to give Le Coupé a visit. Kristen and Craig certainly made The Cut here!

🤤 I’m not sure the ingredients in this food are from the periodic table of elements. Absolutely out of this world chicken sandwich!! I’ve had almost ever major place in LA nothing comes close. They really care about the food they’re making here along with even the branding and packing the food comes in for take out. The sandwich was so crispy yet juicy I even ate the all the slaw that dripped off the sandwich it was so good. I also got the corn ribs which I didn’t know what to expect… they were incredible so flavorful and a huge portion. Washed it down with their delicious sea salt chocolate chip cookie too!
