Hands down the absolute best buttermilk fried chicken sandwich of my life. I have searched all of Toronto for it I found this gem in LA and oh my god. Easy to say life changing sandwich. The juiciness of the chicken and the sauce on top plus the coleslaw just made this a sandwich which drives your tastebuds into madness. Definitely and strongly recommend stopping by here.

WOW!!!! Saying this chicken sandwich and tenders and just everything was a transformative culinary experience would not be an exaggeration. The chicken is so juicy and full of flavor. The potato salad and blue cornbread shocked me in the best possible way. The potato was made just like my Mom makes it minus the relish, and the blue cornbread was so buttery and moist. Even the dipping sauces were the absolute best I've ever had, and don't even get me started on the salted chocolate chip cookie that was warm and gooey and just delicious. This place should be at the top of your places to try list and I promise you will not be disappointed!

Favorite Things
I was not expecting the chicken to be as sweet as it is. It's good, the honey obviously gives the chicken that good crunch. I'm just not a big fan of sweet meats, so I was kinda hoping they would cut the sweetness with some spice or savory but did not. The chocolate chip cookie is amazing, whatever you do get yourself one of those cookies. I'll be back for that

The chicken sandwich was HUGE! I coulda split it with my girlfriend. It was insanely delicious. The corn ribs and Mac& cheese were equally amazing.. I had it for lunch and I probably won’t eat again for a few days..🤣

I cannot believe the reviews this place has. Actually I can, because white people and gentrifiers have no taste and this is clearly the market. I had the chili honey fried chicken and the blue corn bread. Now I know a "chili" flavored chicken doesn't have to be hot like a nashville chicken sandwich, but this didn't even have the slightest kick to it. And not nearly enough honey flavor to be anything spectacular. As for the chicken itself, it was fine. Literally just fine. I've had plenty of better southern fried chicken in LA alone, let alone down south. Now what I can say is that the blueberry cornbread was immaculate. Absolutely amazing. So maybe the sides are where this place signs. But you can't be a one-note restaurant with a mediocre main product.

First time trying the fried chicken sandwich. It was the perfect crispy texture and was filling. I don’t like too much creaminess, so a little less of the coleslaw on the sandwich would have been fine. Will be back!

As I finish off my lunch of Corn Ribs, I wanted to post just how lovely this restaurant is. The staff are fabulous. They are always so welcoming and always serving guests as fast as they can even on very busy days. I thoroughly enjoy my Saturday’s when Im able to stop by. Delicious gigantic fried chicken sandwich. We ordered the sandwich and were a little upset that there were no side options. As soon as we got our sandwiches and opened the box we understood why they offer the sandwich itself. It’s massive and extremely juicy! Highly recommend this place!
