Many who dine out know about the chicken sandwich craze which spread across the nation several years ago. From gourmet style to fast-food many eateries jumped in to offer their take. Le Coupe is no sleeper and from what I experienced ranks in the top of fried chicken with a twist. Many rave about Memphis style chicken and they should but Le Coupe uses its Louisiana Cajun heritage to make it a "must stop." Their sandwich is exceptional. If you're looking for basic fried chicken, this is NOT YOUR SPOT. Instead you will be treated to fried chicken drenched in a tasty hot, honey style sauce that is the perfect complement. The quality of the sandwich shines as while the chicken is superbly prepared, the bun, the slaw, the pickles take it to a new level. Some might raise an eyebrow over the $15 cost but again, this a'int fast food as you get what you pay for. Moving on, the rib of corn is so basic it's hilarious to mention. But, boy have they hit it out of the park with this appetizer. Ribs of corn are drenched in a mayonnaise chili sauce that makes it a very addictive dish. For $11, worth the experience. The potato salad (made with red potatoes) is fresh made (like the other items), very tasty and a nice presentation by being topped off with fresh chives. The drinks are another hit. Everything is freshly made. The lemonade was tasty and you could taste the quality. Again, at $6, you get what you pay for. LeCoupe is a tiny venue but cozy enough for several chairs, as well as a few outside. Everything is made from scratch but your order comes at a quick pace. Western and Melrose is a busy intersection, so the parking on Western can be tight so you will need some patience or street-smarts. Le Coupe has earned my business so if you're having the taste for some uniquely fried chicken (thighs or tenders) you can't go wrong with them. Price points may appear high but worth it based on the quality your receive.

We came 2 hours before closing and just snagged the LAST chicken sandwich and corn ribs. Definitely plan to come early as they are having some good success selling right now and still figuring out how to handle the influx. The employees were really apologetic for not being able to serve everyone and held their composure during a big rush. We had great service. The food was awesome, the corn ribs were surprisingly tasty, the sauces worked great together, and they were a great portion size. The sandwich was so crunchy and tender, and the sauce was tangy and sweet. It's not spicy hot but great flavors. Also got the cheesecake which was good! We would return!

Le COUPE in Los Angeles is a hidden gem with a cozy atmosphere. The blue corn bread with butter is a must-try, with its divine taste that leaves you craving for more. The chicken is another standout, with each piece offering a delightful crunch and flavorful experience. The portions are generous, perfect for sharing, especially since the chicken pieces are huge. The corn ribs were also a hit, disappearing quickly from the plate. However, be mindful of the seating if you're tall, as the red tables can be a bit snug for taller individuals, with limited space for your legs. It's advisable to avoid peak times, as the small space only accommodates around 8 tables. Overall, Le COUPE offers a memorable dining experience with its delicious food and charming ambiance.

Totally unhealthy but crazy honey sauce fried chicken sandwich. One and done for me. Kind of pricey but everything is these days.

I first tasted their chicken a few months ago at their booth at Tenderfest, a chicken festival held in Beverly Hills. Their chicken was very memorable, the absolute tastiest & juiciest by far. The chicken tenders are incredible - the best I've ever tasted. The coleslaw is quite good .The service is also very friendly- the guy in the front is chatty & nice. A true Laker fan from Minnesota. I hope they open another location in Westwood (UCLA /village)!

The texture of the chicken is really good, and the coleslaw and pickles in the sandwich are really delicious. I 100% plan to visit again. I took takeout because the store was small, but I will definitely try it in store next time. Chicken sandwich and corn highly recommended

From all the hype this place got and "being the best in LA"... definitely not worth it. $6 for a wack thing of cornbread. Mac n cheese was warm but towards the colder side and bland. Potato salad was okay at best. The chicken sandwich... flattened to hell thigh, overdressed slaw, thin/bland pickles. The honey on the chicken masked everything. Only 2 positives are that it held together and wasn't dry. Nothing about this place screamed "best".

"Le Coupe has taken the classic chicken sandwich to a whole new level. Their version isn't about the heat or trying to be another Nashville knockoff; it's all about that perfect, classic flavor with a sweet twist that truly sets it apart. The chicken is juicy, tender, and massive. And the service? puts Chick-fil-A in the dirt. They've got a kind of genuine friendliness. If you're tired of the spicy trend and looking for a chicken sandwich that feels both familiar and elevated, Le Coupe prob the spot in la to have it.

By far, one of the best tasting fried chichen sandwiches I've come across! The taste and look are unreal. Thank goodness I came across the IG reel that directed me directly to Le Coupe. Highly recommend this place! Top notch! 5 Stars! Had high expectations going into this place, and the food definitely exceeded those expectations!

This chicken sandwich is worth the hype on social media. The chicken is freshly prepared and assembled in a beautiful presentation! The sandwich hits many notes including crunchy, spicy, creamy from the slaw and wherever you are getting the buns: yummy! Staff was especially perfect for the front. He was cordial, friendly, respectful and light hearted. Didn't get his name but he's pictured below. The restaurant is adorable and simple, yet meticulously clean. Maybe a little dusting on the high shelf but otherwise pristine. I highly recommend Le Coupe for their chicken sandwich. See you next trip

The best fried chicken sandwich I've had. Crispy, flavorful, and over the top in size. Friendly staff. Great place.
