Horrible experience. From rat droppings in our salad to the rude waiter and manager we walked out. The place was in sanitary and staff rude.

This restaurant was absolutely perfect! Loved the outdoor dining and how you could see the kitchen. My friend got their wine flight which apparently was good, and they have nonalcoholic wine! The food was delicious, we got 5 plates and dessert for 4 people. The strawberry apricot meringue tart was insane. Thank you!!!

Loved it! Great staff, good vibes and AMAZING food. Fresh, healthy, local and very good. You order sides and meat to share around the table. A must if in Santa Monica. Absolutely a hidden gem! 🥂😮💨

Diane is wonderful. Since I was taking my order to go, she asked for my number and would call when food was ready. She called and brought to me as I was parked at the back entrance. I didn’t expect that at all!! Also, I’m visiting family in Southern California and this restaurant, food and great service was a pleasant surprise!

While they are said to be pet friendly, they are not.
The food is over priced. The octopus was chewy. Frankly it was the worst I've ever had.
The only good thing was our waiter and the crudo. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. The management was rude.

Absolutely loved the vibe at Le Great Outdoor!
The atmosphere is perfect—laid-back, cozy, and full of charm. The outdoor seating is spacious and ideal for relaxing with friends or a casual date night. The food was fresh and flavorful—I especially recommend the grilled specials. Staff were super friendly and made the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. If you're looking for a spot with good food, great service, and a lovely outdoor setup, this place is a hidden gem. Will definitely be coming back!

Sprawling outdoor spot for an assortment of elaborately played, shareable dishes. The menu is fairly extensive and there's something for everyone, would definitely come back to try some other items. Everything we had was delicious! We appreciated the opportunity to taste a few wines before deciding on one. Service from Michael was very friendly. Buzzy, trendy and cool vibe great for both dates and groups. We had an excellent time!

The menu is big and I love the variability! I also really enjoyed the chicken skewers! In general, way too salty, and what should have felt like a clean meal ended up feeling heavy. Seating is not very comfortable, but ambiance is great. Wine + beer only, leaning natural.

I’m hesitant to say how good this place is, because it’s a hidden gem. But they deserve the praise! The food is incredible, the vibes are great, the service is lovely, and I really like that it’s off the beaten path so-to-speak. They change the menu seasonally and every meal here has been a treat. The cauliflower is a surprisingly tasty part of the menu and a must-order every time!
