Chinese restaurants offer truly delicious cuisine. The dishes are freshly cooked upon order, and the taste is truly exquisite. Do not be misled by the ratings; the food is of excellent quality.

We pick this place randomly since we did know any Chinese restaurant were we were. The food was great the service was great the portions were big and we really enjoyed our meal
Last October, we drove to LA to see a famous VN singer Concert at the Dolby Theatre, it's the first time we went to a VN concert and went inside the famous Dolby Theatre. It was amazing but before the 3 hr concert, we're hungry, we need to fill our stomach and this restaurant appeared on Yelp and it's next to the theater.
The place doesn't have any parking lot, but we already parked at the Dolby Theater so it's just a little walk to Highland Ave.
The restaurant doesn't look fancy, you can call it's a hole in the wall restaurant on the main street of Hollywood.
The restaurant is actually very clean and pleasant inside. There's only 2 people working there, must be mom and pop. It wasn't crowded when we walked in, so we get to order right away.
Every dishes are so inexpensive compare to the Bay Area. We ordered many dishes that we liked. Eggplants, pineapple fried rice, seafood crispy chow mein, 3 flavor sizzling plate, some sapporo and tsingtao beer, we prefer to share a big bottle of either one but they don't have so we ordered single one each to share.
The foods cooked very hot and tasty, the portions are huge, we actually took home most of the foods.
The eggplants were delicious, the crispy chow mein with thick noodles wasn't so crispy and it's hard, the sauce is excellent, we preferred the cantonese thin noodles. The Fried rice seemed to be from precooked rice and not freshly cooked, dry and hard although the taste was good.
The 3 flavor sizzling plate was excellent and we liked it a lot.
For the price and the food, this place is great, just have to order the right dishes. May be the soft chow mein would be good, the steam rice may be better than fried rice or dump the rice altogether with just chow mein.
Now we know a place to eat when we visit Hollywood Chinese and Dolby Theatre.

Ordered off of the “buy one get one free” menu, which I ordered Mongolian beef and it came with a free won ton soup. My order was done 20 minutes after the pickup window, and then they didn’t give me my soup, and said that menu doesn’t exist. On top of that, the Mongolian beef is 75% onions. 20 bucks for this pile of crap. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else
Not that great of a place at all. I order some shrimp fried rice, and the rice tasted like they cooked it 3 weeks ago.

I was impressed with the lunch combos. While not the best tasting (not bad by any means either) they gave a ton of food for the price which was low by LA standards. They did honor the free thai tea but did not seem happy about it. I would recommend this place if youre in hollywood and craving american style chinese.

Don’t let the crazy outside world fool you, this place is so cozy and the food is delicious. I had the mo pau tofu with a side of $2 white rice, mixed with sriracha 💯
Restroom was upstairs and peaceful 👍🏾

I would not recommend eating here and would not be back. Food was okay, but definitely off. One table left with their plates still full of food, they didn't seem to like it either.

To start I do like the food here but this place has really really, bad service. They don’t give you any water or refill your water you have to walk up to get water. And it’s not self service water because the cups are behind the counter. They even bring out all the food and don’t offer any water. I have been here three times and the server just sits behind the counter, I think they are doing homework or watching stuff on their laptop. I have to walk up to the counter to get my check and togo boxes and they act like you are bothering them and give you a bad look. It’s like why are you even working here if you’re not working?
This restaurant is cheating customers. The supplements clearly listed with the lunch special as shown in their menu (egg roll, soup, etc.) were not included in my order... The fried rice tasted old and just was heated in the microwave.#scammers
Liars. They tell you buy one get one free. Then they require you to add $5 for a full serving. Then another few dollars for white rice. That buy one get one free is now $30. Give me a break. I'd rather go to Panda.
