Anybody who reviews this place less than 5 stars simply has no taste and doesn't understand food. The cocktail menu here was one of the best, ever. Califobrian and the Filthy Martini are and will forever be pinnacles of cocktail in my mind. The pizza, absolutely impeccable. The caprese, insane. It opened up a world of cooking and flavor to me, the taste of fire and wood that Skenes captured in the dishes here. So so bummed it has been closed... and I check constantly to see if they will reopen. Really hope it's not over. And if it is, it just goes to show how peak artistry and incredible food are, unfortunately, not always enough to sustain a restaurant.

An absolutely delicious meal. This menu had some unique takes on modern cooking revolving around their pizza oven. The stracciatella bruschetta with persimmon, sheet pasta ragu and soft serve were all items I would order again. Service was a bit rushed but otherwise good.

Cool vibe inside. Upscale yet retro.

Food was great but I had the bar set pretty high going in, and it didn’t quite hit that bar. Food was good but not quite worth the price.

Food highlights was definitely the deer tartare! Excellent flavor and the crisp bread that came with was perfect.

The tomato salad was good but a little underwhelming. Pizza also didn’t blow me away.

The appetizers we had were very good, but once we got to the Italian food, things started to go downhill. I tend to prefer non-sweet tomato sauces, so I might be biased, but the sauce here is very sweet. The pizza was overly sweet and the lasagna was just not too interesting. The soft serve at the end was good, so if you come for apps and dessert, you’ll be ok…pizza and lasagna were just not my style

The quality and type of food does NOT match the prices. Overall, it’s a casual environment with frightfully expensive food. The drinks are fantastic and the seafood was great. $375 for 18 oysters? Get outta here.

Leopardo is fantastic. I’ve been back several times since it opened, and the menu just keeps getting better.

The food quality is outstanding. I don't know why they don't make make a big deal about it, but every ingredient is top-notch—everything is sourced well, tastes incredible, and is prepared perfectly.

Leopardo has the same magic as Skenes' other hits. Great flavor combinations, creative takes on classic dishes, and a real respect for the ingredients, with fire playing a key role in bringing it all together.

If you're the type of foodie looking for something more than the usual LA fare (Jalapeno Hamachi Carpaccio), this place is a must-visit.

The staff are always lovely—genuine, patient, and clearly working hard to make sure you have a great time.

The vibe strikes a nice balance between casual and upscale. You can count on having a fun, relaxed evening every time.

Hi - have to do a new post under my other Gmail in response to management’s reply to my original review from eliciabg …CAPRESE IS NOT BURRATA!!!!! This is exactly what I’m taking about … you’re not authentic Italian!!!!’ Caprese .. as in your “cali-prese” … is MOZZARELLA… very different from BURRATA!!! If you indeed use burrata THEN YOU NEED TO CHANGE THE NAME OF THE DISH. You also need to send your staff to Italy for them to learn the difference instead of paying 8 people to hassle one table on a Tuesday might.

I will be reflecting on the deliciousness of this meal for years to come. Probably the best tomatoes I’ve ever eaten. Definitely get down with the Satan pizza. And who can say no to frose (or a tomato martini). These chefs are clearly alchemists of the highest order.

What a lovely surprise! I had heard great things, but try not to raise my expectations and am rather cynical when it comes to new, heavily hyped up restaurants. Every dish was better than the prior one and the waitstaff was friendly, attentive and had great recommendations. I'd highly recommend the antelope tartare, cali-prese, Hello Satan pizza, and biscoff cookie + softserve for dessert if you still have room. The tartare was unlike any other tartare I've had before: unique flavor profile and a lovely mix of smokey spices. Don't sleep on the cali-prese. I didn't expect much from what seemed like a generic caprese salad, but the way they smoke the potatoes and dress them in a honey vinegar is to die for. I thought the Hello Satan pizza was just as good as people say it is. Cutting it with scissors was a bit much, but the crust / dough they're working with here is unlike any pizza dough I've had in the city. If you don't like hot honey + pepperoni pizzas, try one of the other pizzas because getting a pizza here is a non-negotiable. I'd also recommend saving room for dessert. The sourdough Biscoff cookie sandwiches (candied hazel nut & cookie butter center) + soft serve are the perfect sweet treat to share and end the evening.

The space it self is quite spacious, has a good balance of music and ambient noise while not being too loud. Fun decor and a genuinely lovely spot for a date-night, dinner with a larger group of friends or solo dining at the bar. Will certainly be back.
