I’m not sure what I was expecting but more than one option is my minimum. Bread is one thing. Yes, all of the loaves are vegan. The only choice is an overpriced vegan gluten free walnut chocolate chip cookie. It’s more expensive than the 8 non-vegan choices.
Yummy, delicious, flavorful cookies, and friendly staff. We stood in line outside as they were super busy, but so worth it!

Today I visited Levain Bakery on Larchmont Boulevard in Los Angeles, and this place turned out to be really excellent. I ordered a Chocolate Chip Brioche and a Sticky Bun to enjoy the fresh pastries on-site. Every bite was perfect: the brioche was soft and melted in my mouth, while the spiced Sticky Bun created an incredible combination of textures and flavors.
I was pleasantly surprised by the bakery’s atmosphere it was cozy, bright, with friendly and attentive staff ready to help with choices and share recommendations.
After enjoying my orders, I couldn’t resist taking a few more cookies and buns to go, to share with a friend. Everything was packed neatly, fresh, and in perfect condition.

Levain Bakery went above and beyond with their incredible cookies! We received them at The Vartazarian Law Firm, and everyone was blown away by how fresh and delicious they were. Not only are they a true treat, but they also made the whole office feel extra special. Thank you, Levain, for such an amazing experience, these cookies are hands down the best we’ve ever had!

Had one of the worst scones I’ve ever tried - dry, flavorless, and disappointing. On top of that, I overheard staff casually talking about giving “minimum effort,” which explained a lot.
Super cute bakery inside. I ordered the Coconut Carmel Chocolate Chip cookie. I really enjoyed the cookie. I’d say it’s more of a two person cookie, but it was DELICIOUS! I asked for it warmed up and they forgot which dinged the experience a little. Prices were a little high (5.50ish for the cookie). Overall pretty good though!

Wonderful people, especially Melissa! She helped me out, with a difficult order.
Cookies from this bakery are huge and full of flavor. Each bite is soft in the middle and crisp on the edges. The smell alone makes you want more. Their bread is also fresh and tasty. I stop by whenever I’m in the area.

Over time, one of the constants in our trips to the US has become searching for a Levain Bakery. After New York, Los Angeles lives up to the expectations as well. Fantastic cookies—this time I was surprised by the raisin one, while the dark chocolate continues to be an all-time favorite! And this time, we even got the tin box to bring some cookies back home.
