I would stop by this establishment every so often. The owner is like that uncle that you've known your whole life. The egg rolls are fresh and the duck has that nice skin. The shrimp fried rice isn't too bad either. Stop by for that OG Chinatown feel and to say hi to the uncle!

this is my go to spot for all my asian holiday potlucks! this duck here is always so thick and juicy! the pork belly is roasted to perfection with crispy crunchy skin! i've had my share of duck and roasted pork and i would say this place has the best in LA. the staff here are fun, i like to listen to them argue with customers in vietnamese. customers be wild sometimes. if there's no line, they cut up your meats pretty fast. this place also has a grocery section where you can pick up snacks, hot sauce, noodles and asian cookies.

Very traditional Cantonese style bbq deli place. They have the best Cantonese roast duck in the old Chinatown!

Their BBQ duck is great. BBQ pork in the other hand is a bit difficult to chew

We stop in to buy food here at least once a month because their duck is good. The staff isn't very nice though. At least not to us. Showed up today, Chinese New Year, and they looked into the eyes and faces of everyone around us and shouted, "happy new year." They didn't greet me or my hubby at all though. And when we told them, "happy new year" after spending about $150 on food, the dude ringing us up mumbles low and under his breath so we could barely hear it, 'happy new year'Wow laulau.I know we might not look Chinese but... surprise! We do have Chinese ancestry.Anyways, that's my story. Go for the duck and the roast pork but don't expect them to be super friendly.

I am not an expert foodie, but I know what is authentic and what tastes good when it comes to Cantonese style roasted Pork, Cha-Siu, roasted duck, etc. This place is a small shop which do their roasting on site. I went there in the middle of the day and ordered a two-items combo with roasted duck and roasted pork. The skins of both meat still retained some crispiness despite being hung on the self for half a day. Not too bad. The meat of the roasted pork is more on the lean side, but yet it is still soft and tender in your mouth. The duck is almost succulent good, not too fat which is what I like. To my surprise they cut me the legs and thighs from a new whole duck for my two-items combo. I have never seen things done like before. Chinese restaurants always give you the chicken/duck breast first and keep the legs and thighs for later. If you are a Chinese you will understand. This place is definitely a 8+ out of 10 and I rate most bigger Cantonese BBQ places in Los Angeles a 6 at most on average. I am sure I have had tasted better, but this place is definitely good. I will definitely come here next time when I visit Chinatown.

Roast pork smell. Dry. Not enough seasoning. And not crispy. Roast duck also dry.. not juicy... not as people describe..

$11 for rice and bbq pork! These are the masters at Cantonese-style dishes and have the finely chopped meats to prove it. Now tell me, who got the meats?

Very classic Chinese bbq. Nothing fancy. And you know the drill at this kind of spot: cash only. If you want roast pork or a roast duck, this is the place! I come for roast pork. It's my dad's favorite. One day I was picking up pork for my parents and planned to visited my mom's friend on the way. I knew their adult kids were visiting that day too so I decided to bring them a roast duck. By the next morning, all three adult children texted me to ask where I got the duck. They loved it. I got a duck for my parents and I next time I was around. It was so good. Crisp skin and super juicy meat. The "duck sauce" is really just the drippings, all the spices are in it and and it's delicious over rice. I'd recommend calling in your order so they can set it aside for you since parking is a little difficult in Chinatown. There's a yellow curb in front of the business with room for two cars, so if you're lucky you can park for a minute and run in to grab your food.

Delicious Cantonese bbq. Crispy pork is among the best I have had in LA area, always a good cut ( evenly fat lean) forget about the hipster joints popping up everywhere. Support the OG. Pig intestines ( chitterlings) is also a must try. Also offers a solid supply of Chinese pantry staples like sauces, rice, noodles, eggs, pickles, perhaps a selection of fresh greens depending on the day.
