I like the Menudo but this is the second time that the Menudo is quite salty. I didn't return it because I ordered it to go and it was already served to me. But if I had been to the restaurant I would return it because it is not the first time they have overused the salt.

The tamales were very dry and no green sauce. Very disappointed and Horrible never again. The tamales are not like they use to be . What a Christmas morning treat. Cynde / Boyle Heights
The tamales are not good. There tamales are not good. They are bad.
I only gave LILIANA'S TAMALES one star because the algorithm doesn't allow me to write my opinion if I give ZERO stars. First of all....STOP LYING PEOPLE about saying that your tamales are fresly made every day. I stop by your location at First Street / Indiana. I bought 1 and 1/2 dozens of tamales(one of chicken, and one of cheese)for dinner. Second,YOUR TAMALES WERE HARD AS ROCK,FLAVORLESS, DRY...and I can better describe them with one word..."OBNOXIOUS ". I as a MEXICAN can say that you previously froze the tamales because even the chicken was very dry and hard.Third, stop making profits from selling bad tamales.I would recommend to those who are thinking about ordering tamales for the Holydays to go to another place.I hope my review help people NOT TO BE FOOLISHED like I was.

The tamales are not the greatest. They are overrated and expensive. Even though this place is in the heart of East LA, the food doesn’t taste like real Mexican food. Also, I didn’t have cash and they charged me 4% extra for using Apple Pay. I think that’s a little bit too much. I would understand $1 or $2 dlls but $5.00 for using my debit card that’s a little bit too much. Not coming back.

First time back in years. Food was disgusting and meat had so much fat and ligaments and so chewy. I got the huarache with asada and it was just not good. So disappointed. Tamales are not the same as before either.

I usually get take out and I came with my mother to eat breakfast, we were told to sit where ever and someone would be with us shortly. Then after waiting 10-15 minutes no one came and helped us, and two parties that came in were attended right away, keep in mind they were in the same section! So we left! They told us they were busy but somehow were attending people who had just walked in?

Parking is not the best. Plan ahead one driver one shopper. Drop off shopper, circle the block, then front pickup. Driver adjusts timing depending on traffic. Works for me. It's all about the cheese tamales. $70 for 2 dozen. Totally worth the trip.Thank you
