The tamales here are hearty and flavorful, and they have a big variety to choose from. My favorite is the green chile with cheese. The portions are filling, and the masa is soft but not mushy. It gets packed during holidays, so I recommend ordering ahead. It’s one of the few places that still feels like a true family-run kitchen
We went here on a food tour a few years ago. I punched in tamales and accidentally came back. Pleasantly surprised! This is where you go for TAMALES and other legit Mexican food.
I like the Menudo but this is the second time that the Menudo is quite salty. I didn't return it because I ordered it to go and it was already served to me. But if I had been to the restaurant I would return it because it is not the first time they have overused the salt.
