We've come here a few times and the food and drinks are generally pretty good. Decent ambiance and looks like it was originally a house that was converted into a restaurant. Making reservations can be a bit of a process. Rarely will someone pick up the phone, but there is a way to make reservations online through their website which does require a credit card deposit and for you to sign up with this reservations app. Some items on the menu are a bit overpriced as some other reviewers mentions, but we would definitely come back.

This is in my neighborhood and I really enjoyed my dinner with my husband there. We went super early, 5pm, and it was empty. Great dirty martini, fish dip, and cacio e Pepe. Would go back for a special occasion - it was on the expensive side (especially for the "cute lil neighborhood restaurant" vibes it has). It was a little more affordable we definitely would be regulars.

The food was great but very, very expensive. The parking was terrible. For as much as they charged for food you would think they would have enough parking. It's an odd business model and I don't see it lasting!!

Lovely ambiance, beautiful decor and kind staff, but I felt that the food was overpriced and underwhelming (I had the salmon). To be fair though, it came highly recommended so I had high expectations coming in, and that affected my experience. I'm glad I tried, and it's worth one try!

I went on a random night 40 minutes before they closed and the staff was wonderful. The food was amazing! So delicious! Will definitely go back no doubt! I recommend the short ribs and the flatiron steak! Wow.. ?Kid-friendliness: I took my daughter and she felt the love and care from the staff with food options.

Very delayed review for a quaint dinner at on the porch at Little Beast. Located right on the corner. Street parking. Drinks were good! We ordered the Elderflower gimlet and GLS Gruner. What we ordered (may not longer be on the menu FYI): Iceberg Wedge - very yummy salad app! Iceberg was crunchy, the bacon was really crispy. I was a big fan! Cacio e pepe was very tasty but no pepe (pepper), which seemed to be substituted with chives instead? Steak frites - steak amount was quite small to a couple pieces where it almost looked like it was a side to the fries instead of the main. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare. The fries were too soft and I was looking for more of that crunch. Salmon Mousse - good starter, chunky crispy bread slices to pair with Watermelon Salad - refreshing, not super interesting Meal overall had some hits and passes for next time, but I still think it could be worth checking out.

To Little Beast we went, for my love's birthday, To a cozy lil feast, we found our way, Incredible food, unique cocktails too, I loved it all, and so will you. Crocodile's tears, I had to try, And an elderflower gimlet, indeed caught my eye, Delicious and unique, they did not disappoint, To try as much as we could, we made it a point. Roasted mushroom and black truffle risotto, And other dishes, we couldn't say no, Every bite, a burst of flavor, An adventure for our taste buds, we did deeply savor. Little Beast, oh how you impressed, Our dining experience, you truly blessed, Cozy and intimate, a place I now adore, For my love's birthday we came, but we'll be back for more.

Went here for Valentine's Day with my boyfriend. We were only allowed to get the prix fixe menu, which was $125 per person and included a small cheese board, two pre-selected appetizers, two pre-selected entrees, and a dessert to share. The appetizers, entrees, and desserts were not a choice - so for example, I was served raw fish for my appetizer, which I cannot eat. The entree that I had (and DID NOT get to choose) was salmon which came with burnt vegetables. The salmon was fine but the vegetables were not cooked well. My boyfriend's assigned entree was short ribs with polenta, which he said was good. I tried a few bites and didn't love it, but it was better than my entree at least. Also, my main issue - we were seated outside in the freezing cold and right next to a door that kept opening and physically injuring my boyfriend's arm... we had to ask to be moved. This is a lawsuit waiting to happen! The waitress moved us to a different table eventually, but it was still outside and way too cold. We had a reservation, were not outside by choice, we were not told in advance that we'd be outside, and were NOT expecting the cold temperatures. I had a leather jacket with me and was still uncomfortably cold. There was a grimy, sweaty, well-used blanket that our waitress offered us when she noticed were were still cold. It was just gross, and there were no heat lamps outside. There was a heat-emitting pad in the window but it didn't give off actual heat like the large heat lamps usually do. I went to the bathroom like three times just to get out of the cold for a few minutes. Our waitress was not very pleasant or attentive either. By the end of dessert, we were outside, shivering, completely alone, desperately waiting for our bill so we could get to our warm car. I'm not happy with having spent $320 including tax and tip on this experience. To be honest, it felt like a cash-grab on the part of this restaurant because I've been to similarly-priced restaurants and don't mind a higher price tag when the experience and food is worth it. This one was not worth it in my opinion. It felt like they decided to prioritize making money over quality and guest experience. My half of the bill was $160 for... a small slice of Brie on a piece of French bread, a few burnt vegetables that I did actually eat all of because I was hungry, some salmon (yay one nice thing) and a few bites of a small, dry dessert. My boyfriend usually loves this restaurant but I told him to bring a friend with him next time he wants to go.

I'm frustrated at this restaurant's treatment of Valentine's Day reservations. On Friday, 2/2, I made a reservation on Resy for 2/14 (Valentine's Day), a normal reservation with no mention of pre fixe. At the time, there were many other reservation options open. I heard nothing the entire weekend from this restaurant. On Monday 2/5, I got a call from them around 4:30 pm with a voicemail saying that I would need to give them a card to put on file because there's a cancellation fee and that it would be pre fixe and to call them for the menu. I called back, no answer. Today, Wednesday 2/7 they called again at around 3:45 pm. I didn't answer as I was working. Then I got an email around 5:00 pm that my reservation was cancelled. I checked my voicemail and there's a voicemail from them at 3:45 that cuts off after the greeting. I understand that calling before the dinner rush might be convenient for them, but it's not for most working people. (And I hate making calls... that's why I used the app. I definitely don't want to make a call to find out what the menu might be.) I went on the app just now and see that they have now set up requiring a credit card to hold your reservation and have made reference to a pre fixe menu but tell you to go to their instagram to see it. (I did. I'm not impressed but would have been fine with it.) Look, as a business owner, if you screw up, which you obviously did here by failing to set up Resy how you wanted to far enough in advance, good business practice is to bear the burden of that. To cancel a Valentine's Day reservation after 2 phone calls within 3 days, after doing absolutely nothing the entire weekend (limiting my options to make an alternate reservation when you cancelled) is really poor customer service.

Service was subpar, lacking and cocktails had very little thought. The food was good.

Definitely a destination dinner place, ie. Special occasions, family treat, etc. From start (we did not have reservations - recommended, just in case)! Wait staff SO professional, food worth the cost, general experience SO GOOD! Inside dining area, a very cozy mission/ bungalow vibe with low lighting and candles....atmosphere galore.
