Little Pan is my go-to spot near USC for quick and tasty Chinese food. The portions are generous and the prices are student-friendly. I especially love their spicy fish! Highly recommend!

Authentic, flavorful, and fast – a hidden gem near USC! Little Pan is hands down one of the best Chinese food spots around USC. Whether you're craving spicy Sichuan-style dishes or classic comfort food, this place delivers every time.

Absolutely delicious! Every dish was full of flavor, especially the spicy hot pot and grilled skewers. The crayfish were fresh and perfectly seasoned. Great variety and authentic taste—highly recommended!

Delicious Dumplings Near USC!
If you’re near USC and craving pan-fried buns, Little Pan is a must. The house special pork sheng jian bao is crispy on the bottom, juicy inside, and packed with flavor. The scallion pancakes and cucumber salad are great sides, and the boiled dumplings are fresh and well-seasoned. It’s a small spot with limited seating, so takeout is probably your best bet during peak hours. Friendly staff, quick service, and affordable prices. One of my new go-to spots around campus.

I swear Little Pan is the best Chinese restaurant that I tasted near USC. If you study at USC, you should definitely go after class or before class. Their pork dumplings is super good and you can have a lot of dishes that you like at their place. I usually order the dumplings and noodles there. I have been to this place two times last week. Highly recommended to you all!

A great spot for dumplings near USC campus. It's a very short walk and it's in Tuscany Apartment. It's very small with a few seatings but most people take it to-go. Food was very good. I think food around USC was meh, this is a rare spot.

I had some dumplings and the beef noodles. The spicy dumplings were very nice. They're not too spicy actually, although the oil looked very spicy. The beef noodles didn't look too spicy but it was extremely spicy to me. The noodle itself didn't have anything but you have to add-on beef, veggies and eggs to get what I had. The fried buns (their signature) were really good too, especially the mapo tofu. It's extremely hot even after sitting for a long time though.

I think the price was quite high for dimsum but everything else around USC is pretty expensive in general so this might make sense. They provide 45 mins parking validation but I think it might not be enough because the wait for the food was quite long. Not sure because of the cooking time or there were a lot of people buying.

Really good fried rice (we tried both beef and shrimp), & scallion pancakes. The portions are really big and the prices decent. Highly recommend.

Just be aware that if you order and sit outside, they will not bring it to you but rather have it in a take away bag that you need to pick up yourself. On the other hand you have a ready to go box if you can't finish it all in one go :)

Service is great, coconut pudding is delicious, the rainbow dumplings were disgusting, I didn't even finish them sorry :( It's also really expensive for what you get

Parking: No parking nearby, you'd have to park near USC or the museums

At Little Pan, their gourmet juicy buns live up to the highest standards with 24k gold flakes AND black truffle. However, what sets them apart from other dumpling shops in LA is their cooking process. ✨1. Buns are better pan-fried than steamed, and 2. Combine the soupy style from XLB (Xiaolongbao- soup dumplings) with the panned crispy bottoms, giving you an explosion of flavor and textures in your mouth✨

?PSA: the Grand Opening for their 3rd location in Southern California ends at the end of this month (September). There’s BOGO’s and a chance to win an iPad?

We had: ?24k Gold Black Truffle Pan-Fried Buns, ?️A Cup of Mini Pan-Fried Buns in Chili Oil, ?Dan Dan Noodles, ?Beef Pancake, ?Rainbow Dumplings (2 Spanish mackerel, 2 beef & cabbage, 2 pork & cabbage, 2 shrimp leek & pork)

?Thank you for having me @littlepanfriedbun

Went to a show at the Torch and wanted to quickly grab food before. This little place was 10 mins from closing (I didn't even know!), I apologized and was going to leave but they insisted it was no problem. Ordered some buns and they were fresh and done in 10 mins. Amazing people and wonderful food. Thank you! Hope to come again (BEFORE closing time lol)
