Overall it was well worth it - yes the prices were a tad high (even for LA) but the ambiance is very nice. We sat inside, but the outside patio seemed nice too.

I really wanted to like Little Ripper, but the experience was disappointing for the price. Los angelo’s have been gas lit into thinking it’s normal to pay 21+ dollars for a portion like that. For twenty two dollars, the plate comes with a slice of bread cut in half, two pieces of bacon, a halved tomato, and some eggs. When I asked how many eggs it included, the staff said “one or two,” which honestly confused me. I couldn’t tell if they were using powdered eggs or fresh eggs because the answer didn’t make sense.
We ordered two dishes and two coffees and the total was almost sixty dollars. That is a wild price point for the amount of food you receive. The portions are tiny. I should not be spending that much and still leave hungry.
Since it is a coffee shop first, I expected the coffee to really shine. Instead, it tasted exactly like the coffee I make at home. Not terrible at all, but not worth seven dollars. To make it worse, there were grounds in my cup and grounds sitting at the bottom of my partner’s iced coffee. That should never happen at any café.
The atmosphere is cute and the staff is genuinely kind, attentive, and honestly the best part of the place. The owner is lucky to have workers like that. The problem is the space itself. It is way too cramped with too many tables squeezed into a tiny room. You end up sitting barely a foot away from other people and it kills any chance of enjoying your meal. I couldn’t focus on eating because I was stuck between one table talking about strange topics and another repeating the same story about their family vacation over and over.

Vibes - immaculate. Coffee - Excellent. $10 for a single slice of Bub’s toast with butter and jam feels WILD even in this economy, but the cheese and tomato toastie more than made up for that. Love this little gem of a cafe.

The breakfast plate is the best brunch I’ve had in LA. Perfectly made eggs, fresh salad, delicious tomatoes, toast, and bacon. A little pricey but worth it. Friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. Would recommend! Coffee is good too.

Bloody oath!! They serve some damn good coffee and iced chocolate (Aussie style) served here! You know the person is Australian when they know the word serviette.

I’ve been visiting my brother in LA recently and had the chance to enjoy an amazing brunch and specialty coffee in Glassell Park. The food and drinks were excellent, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. Highly recommended!

Beautiful little place that felt like being in someone's very well decorated home. We stopped here after a wedding for a snack and a drink and had a great time. It is a little bit pricey but honestly worth it. If you are in the area, give it a shot :)

One of my go-to spots for a light meal when I'm busy. The service isn't very good though.

This Aussie-style café serves some of the best flat whites in the area. I also tried their Vegemite toast (a must if you're curious) and a freshly baked scone. The vibe is mellow, with cool décor and a few outdoor tables. Everyone behind the counter was friendly and laid-back. A good place to work for an hour or just sip slowly

Delicious house drip black coffee and a Spanglish Brekkie was a perfect way to start my day in this busy little local hang tucked into a valley where L.A. meets Glendale.

Place is pretty but yeesh...
After a year of pedaling by on my bike I finally decided to stop here. I had to ask the server to describe the various coffee drinks "it's an Australian cafe" so they have Australian names. Ok. Server was super friendly and accommodating and happy to explain them. Then I pull out cash cuz I don't want to use a credit card this month and they don't accept cash now. They said there was a robbery. I think that's wildly elitist to not be accepting cash. Do they think all people have credit? I appreciate that I was able to voice that to the cashier and she could take it in with grace.
My Flat White? Decent enough. Certainly not horrible. But not worth it to stop again when better and less expensive coffee is not too much further of a pedal away. I'm sure locals appreciate the place cuz it's pretty and there's not much else around.

Came to try based on a friend’s rec. I arrive to them closing at 3 pm. I asked, “are you closing? It says you close at 6 pm online.” They responded “oh our website is messed up and we haven’t updated it.”
If you care about customer retention, be courteous to your customers - let them know your actual business hours. It’s never fun to drive in LA traffic, only to be told “oh we haven’t gotten to updating our website.”
