Offensive mural, none of these dishes represent Vietnamese culture properly, absolutely disgraceful.

They "close" at 10. Got there just after 9 (less than 10 minutes after) and they said they're done seating for the night. Not even close to full. And the host was not even nice about it, like we were inconveniencing them just by showing up. Don't worry, won't be back

We had a very early dinner ....4 p.m. so the restaurant was quiet and the food was great!

If you're looking for a solid Vietnamese spot with a more upscale feel in DTLA, Little Sister is definitely worth a visit.

The tables are all tightly squeezed in this restaurant so it was a bit uncomfortable even though it was empty. The food was good though. I liked their shaking beef and the crepe was good too.

Was there for dinner tonight. Food was
not ok, taste is off, maybe it’s more of fusion than Vietnamese. Also having hard time get a hold of the waitress when in needed. Would not recommend.

Vietnamese fusion food in a very cozy setting. Definitely recommend making a reservation. I ordered the black rice with scallops, shrimp, and octopus. It was very good with the sauce! The Vietnamese flavor was definitely there with the lemongrass sauce. A bit on the pricey side

Look, I understand the need to create and invent oneself. In fact, it’s essential! But some things are already perfect in their present state. Absolutely no need for tinkering. Such is wheel. The use of hexagonal shapes in structural design. And Vietnamese food. Doesn’t matter how dim you light your restaurant space. Or the fact that NONE of the people representing the food or your concept, can speak Vietnamese and properly pronounce the names of the dishes. Even then, as offensive as that may seem to a Vietnamese person, even then that shouldn’t matter too much if the food takes your breath away and transports you to some distant, far away land…oh no, it shouldn’t matter. But it did and it did because the food offended my taste buds, my mental state, my entire being so much that all of the aforementioned offenses were escalated. It was an abomination of what one can consider a “take on Vietnamese food and culture”. I haven’t even started in on the obnoxious pricing structures. But that’s a financial discussion and this should be particular about food, and in all ways, culture. This restaurant lacks the effect of any of the above. So go if you wanna be lied to and you wanna live in some fantasy land where Bánh Phỏ is an eighth of an inch thick and the nước chấm is face meltingly tart. But if you’re a purist at heart, and you don’t pass Starbucks off a coffee, then there are gems not hidden all over LA and Orange County to introduce your palette to the diverse Vietnamese food culture.

I used to love this restaurant. But hadn’t been back since the pandemic, and won’t be back. The food is fine. But the service was horrible. While the bussers were great, once our server doug took our order that’s the last we ever saw of him. Once we were finished we sat with our empty plates for over 20 minutes before the hostess brought by the ticket. They never even asked if we wanted dessert. Not sure if they even have dessert anymore. It was a Monday and definitely not busy.

It was the worst place restaurant in 2025 I've been.
My friend invited me to have dinner last night for some Vietnamese pho.
Upon arrival in the venue, I politely approached the receptionist on duty at 6:30pm if there is an available seat for 3 because it's my first time to blog.
She asked me if I had a reservation, I said no, and then she told me if u want an available seat in the bar without even smiling, looking at me head to toe.
I immediately called my friend and informed them that even though there were a lot of fully vacant tables, she said it's fully reserved.
When then 2 customers came in without any reservation, the receptionist on duty assisted and gave them a slot to dine in.
It's a discrimination. We can pay, but if it's poor service and rude staff, please!

We visited the resturant on Saturday night. Welcomed by a very nice lady. Waiter and waitresses were extremely professional and nice.
Atmosphere is very nice. With the painting on the wall, it felt like little Saigon.
First and second dish we're really good. Tge salmon was my daughter favorite.
Their dumpling and the broth were 5 star.
I will go back just to have the dumpling and that brother again and if it comes as a base for hot noodles dish I will have double of that
The rest of the food was mediocre.
Fried chicken spices were to the point, yet the chicken was dry. Extremely dry.
Tofu dish was ok but too much greens with no relation to the dish.
Yes, everything was fresh but if I want greens with no taste I have it at home.
The seabass was fresh, well done but accompanied again with greens!!!

Unfortunately this place is not as good as it once was. Food has gone down hill and it had a B health rating at the time of our visit.

1 hour to bring out spring rolls. if they spent as much time tending to the restaurant rather than useless replies to reviews maybe I could actually eat on time.

We ordered two ramen/soups, as well as a beer and an iced tea.
The service was friendly but curt.
The drinks were ok, although the iced tea had no flavor and only tasted like water.
Unfortunately the food wasn't good at all.
We had beef once and chicken once.
Neither had any real taste and the beef felt half raw.
After that we felt extremely bad and felt nauseous afterwards….
Absolutely not recommended. Very unfortunate.
