This place is a historic landmark. Friendly and laidback. Ring the doorbell to enter. This place is called the livingroom for a reason! Feels like home.Live music varies, however they do have a jukebox.
Was in need of a good dive bar on a Friday night and stumbled upon the living room. Now I should explain one thing- I'm new to the neighborhood and I'm white, so for I'm in the minority where I live, which is new to me. When I walked in, the owner ushered me over to sit down in the middle with everyone and she was even kind enough to buy our first round. I visited back in Fall 2023, so while this review is outdated, I remember the experience. If you asked me for a high-end afternoon tea recommendation, this place would be my first inclination. I took my sister here for her birthday in 2023 at $109 per person for afternoon tea; hotel valet was $17. I was pleased with the ambience, aesthetics, and service at this price point. A glass of champagne was included with the tea, strawberries & cream, and food.
