It's a small sandwich shop situated at 5th and Main St. The sandwiches are tasty. The staff is really helpful in talking about the food. Their bread tasted really fresh. I hear that the place might close soon. It would be a shame.

I really love Lokal! I work in a building near to it and it has been my go-to spot for the last 2 years. They have been my saving grace, and I'm incredibly sad to see they are closing. I am just one person but a lot of us really enjoy their food and their company! Please don't close I always get a quick break when they are there, and now I won't be able to.

I had a Cubano. It was really tasty. Staff is really friendly. They also have breakfast options, but I haven't tried them yet. Anther DTLA place in jeopardy of closing. The shop is small, but the location is great. I wish it had hours to support food for people going to shows at the Regent.

I just Walked into the place the other day to see what they sell. And the cashier was so friendly. She said her special was the ttlb in the store I decided to try it and fell in love ❤️So nowi found decided my happy place is the lokal sandwich ? ? yummy You will have my business every day.

I managed to find the worst bagel in LA - it was somehow both undercooked & burnt, and the texture was not bagel like at all, it tasted more like a bolillo roll (which it wasn't that either) meant to look like a bagel? I was the only one in there and it still took 10 minutes - and it came out looking like this...at least the cashier was friendly.
Got the vegan nam and an americano. I was so surprised at how delicious and filling the sandwich was. The workers were very friendly and efficient. I’ll be coming back often

I've always had a great experience at Lokal. Today got 4 chicken sandwiches. Baguettes were extremely difficult to chew. I'll be going back to see if it was a fluke. Otherwise, I love Lokal.

The food here is delicious and they have several vegan options. Also the portion sizes are pretty big and worth their cost. Highly recommend trying it out.
