I had high expectations based on the restaurant's reputation and was looking forward to an enjoyable evening with a friend. However, our experience fell short for several reasons.

From the outset, we were eager to purchase a bottle of wine with the help of the sommelier. Unfortunately, the sommelier (Sarah) was quite rude and unhelpful, offering no insight into our options. Each time we selected a bottle, we were told we wouldn't enjoy it, without any explanation or alternative suggestions.

Despite these negative experiences, I wanted to highlight that our server Payton was amazing.

Great atmosphere and wine list. However many of the dishes were a bit over rich/ light on flavor. And look, I know, don’t go to a fancy wine bar expecting value, but the price of many of the simple dishes (salads, simple pastas without meat) were above normal even for LA. Service was friendly but slow

This was a great evening of dinning from beginning to end! Like many LA facades, this one seems unassuming from its exterior but as soon as you enter the black iron gated door and into the restaurant you are greeted by an ambiance so inviting! There’s a bar/lounge off to the right (which I have to check out next time), adorned with intimate seating, plush couches, and a centralized bar in the space.We sat outside on the patio and had such excellent service from Mandy! The wines were delicious (had the sparkling and chilled red), butter and bread to start as well as the caesar salad and tuna tartar. Then for our mains we enjoyed the rigatoni and the spring lasagna. Omg, wow!! It did not disappoint. The coursing was done to perfection and we were very pleased with everything!!After dinner, my date went to the restroom and I had an impromptu conversation with the owner, Laurie, who was very personable. We will definitely be back again, and again!

Maybe the best Caesar salad, at least favorite I've had in some time. Fully dressed just like I like it.

This was an amazing place for the surprise b-day for my wife. Thank you! Food/wine/vibe was beyond all expectations, and Laurie is the BEST! She went out of her way to help me pull this off, even though this was our first time dining with them. We will definitely be coming back. LOVE this special spot!
