This was an amazing place for the surprise b-day for my wife. Thank you! Food/wine/vibe was beyond all expectations, and Laurie is the BEST! She went out of her way to help me pull this off, even though this was our first time dining with them. We will definitely be coming back. LOVE this special spot!

I’ve been to lolo couple times but last night was the worst experience. Pasta was awful. Got a bottle and we CAN’T tasting. Don’t ever wanna go again.

Insane fire. Amazing along every axis. These 3 star review heroes criticizing Lolo are clearly unhinged and should take a look in the mirror. “We don’t see things as they are, we see things as we are.” - Anaïs

We stumbled upon this place last night and thought it was absolutely adorable - cute vibe, we sat at the bar and had a great white wine, bread and honey butter and the tartare before going to a show and would absolutely go back for full dinner or a date, really cute vibes and nice people working behind the bar area!

Enjoyed the tuna tartare. Chicory, prawns and steak were all over salted which was a shame as the sauce of the prawns had real potential. They must have changed the cookie recipe as they looked totally different to what people posted previously and they just tasted like a grocery store bought cookie.Very cute vibe but really pricey and not great value. And also they automatically add 20% service.

Pretends to be cool but it’s unprofessional staff, a sommelier who has bo clue what she is talking about and is arrogant about it, tiny portions of average food but prices like it’s west hollywood when it’s just a garage in east hollywood. Uneducated selection if wines (but hey, you can have a $20 petnat for $100) sorry - was really open for this but its just a rip off.

What Lolo has going for it: - ambiance- generous amount of heat lamps on a cold January evening- people watching- tuna tartareWhat Lolo is bad at: - pasta (bland, stingy portions - I was able to salvage my pesto fusili leftovers at home by adding garlic, roasted tomatoes, and chickpeas, giving it some much needed flavor)- price point (no excuse here, the markup is ridiculous for quality and quantity received)- service (While our several waiters were attentive, they were also too quick to take plates and silverware. Once someone ran off with a plate that still had a few bites I intended to eat, and another server asked me if I needed my knife. I'm sorry, is there a shortage of flatware at this restaurant? They circled like vultures when bussing our table.)
This place is super cute and their wine and food are top notch. It’s super easy to order here because the menu is concise and everything is good. Thanks again for everything!

Way better wine bars in LA than this. Proposition, Tabula Rasa, Covell just to name a few. Wine selection is very meh. You’re even better off going to the Shakeys next door.

SAVE YOURSELF AND DON'T COME HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' The pasta is SO SO SO BAD. We ordered three to try and they all came undercooked and very salty. Small servings too and way overpriced The only good thing was the bread.. and it's only 3 pieces for $8. The ambiance is really cute but not worth it at all. Servers are also a bit rude.
