Finally!!! A soul food restaurant that gets the Mac and Cheese and Candied Yams RIGHT!!!! Excellent service from the owner to the wait staff.

Lonells is a new, black-owned establishment offering a cozy bite and warm environment. The food is amazing, delicious, and impeccable, with perfect flavor. Specific highlights include the oxtails, which are on point, as well as the mac & cheese, collard greens, yams, and blackened peas and rice and gravy. The customer service is excellent and amazing, making guests feel nothing but love and like family. The atmosphere is warm and the people are beautiful. However, the side portions are not great for the prices, especially the cabbage, and the ventilation is not great, leaving a smell of fried food.
