Love the Turkey Chops were delicious, the yams were a bit too sweet for my taste, the greens were spot on, and Mac and cheese had good flavor as well.

The side portions aren’t that great for the prices especially the cabbage and the sides are pricey.and the ventilation isn’t great because my leather jacket has been smelling like fried food for days now and that’s not good so hey try it u might like it

All 3 of them were amazing! Shout out to the chef!!! The food is soooo good I wish I can take it back to Florida with me! The flavor was PERFECT!!!!

Baked chicken was old fried chicken with greasy fried chicken drippings as gravy on the side. The yams and mac was decent. My husband's red beans were good and he said the greens were seasoned well. His Turkey chops needed some seasoning. At least we supported my childhood neighborhood glow up atleast once. I'm disappointed and my fingertips smell like old fried chicken grease (mind you it was suppose to be baked 🤯) I just took it to go...maybe I'll feed a stray animal or something.
They catered a repass for me in Inglewood and the food and service was excellent. I will definitely use again.

Too loud for such a small place. And the back feels so secluded probably why no one really sits back there. As far as the food. It’s a hit or miss. I also hate how they leave hairs on their chicken. It just shows they have lazy cooks in the back. I shouldn’t have to pick over my chicken cause yall didn’t clean the hairs off the chicken. The first step is cleaning so idk. Won’t be here too often.

Oxtail ( SALTY) FRIED Chicken ( Fried In OLD Grease And Burnt) Cornbread Is Not Tasty, And Always Cold....Mac & Cheese Is Burnt. Greens Are Out Of Can. Their Gravy Is Too Salty. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Catfish meal is disgusting. The greens are definitely straight out the can, Mac&cheese is out the box and the fish is soggy. Don’t waste your time. M’DEARS is pricey but I’ll spend my money there before here. Also the manger was rude when I called to request a refund. SMH
