We have not visited the lounge in two years. We came to Los Angeles for a trip to the doctor. While waiting for the train, we went to the lounge. Both of us were ticketed passengers for business class. We were each charged twenty- five dollars (total 50 dollars) to wait there. It used to be free. Why is there now a charge? I do not see any upgrades in the lounge. Not worth $ fifty dollars. Maybe ten dollars.
Keith welcomed us and is very nice.

Keith, manager of lounge, was friendly and very accommodating. He made us feel right at home.

Quite enjoyed our brief visit here - our first Amtrak lounge! It's tucked away so be sure to ask for directions at the info desk on the first floor. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and we found the assortment of sips and snacks to be pretty good! Also liked the vintage train journey paraphernalia - cool to see some items from bygone eras.

*To find the lounge, go just past (South of) the main Amtrak ticket counter and turn left at the rental car desk, take the elevator/stairs up one floor*

The best place to wait, if you qualify. The official hours start at 0530, but Amtrak tries to open it early if the Sunset Limited arrives before 0530.

Stayed there for around 10 minutes since we had to get on the train early before it departed. It was fun to ride to the train though.

Definitely an unpleasant place to wait for the train. At this very moment, lady Amtrak employees are cussing up a storm (f words) at the reception desk and trashing their coworkers. It's better to wait in the main hall with the numerous homeless who are more polite.I'll have to say that the gent that checked me in (Kevin or maybe Keith?) was very gracious and gave me useful information about my upcoming journey.

Welcomed by Keith and treated with the best customer service possible. We had a long wait and were very comfortable while enjoying great conversation and an ample selection of snacks and beverages along with great dining options on the 1st floor in the main station area. This level of service should be the standard for all customer service experiences.

I've been to a few metropolitan lounges and this one has the rudest people working there of any of them. Horrible service.

I stopped by Union Station yesterday to get the details of my upcoming Amtrak journey. Since I have a business class ticket, I was informed that I will have lounge access before my departure. I went up to the lounge to check it out, and I was so surprised. The agent on duty named Felis was welcoming and kind. She let me come in and look around. I have been to so many airport lounges. I never knew Amtrak had lounges. It is small and basic, but very nice and a great location to go out to your train directly from the lounge. I am so glad I checked this place out and cannot wait to use it.
