I have been eating here for many years. When working, I would drop in for lunch with co-workers when convenient. Now that I am retired, many of my fellow retirees and I will meet here multiple times a year for lunch. The food is dependable, and the service brings back memories of grandma's kitchen. Not fancy, just good food, nice people, and a comfortable atmosphere.

Very bad service. Once I walked in I felt unwelcome due to the waiter’s facial expressions. I observed how she was rude to a group of police officers and bringing them the wrong order. If she was rude to a group of police officers, what should I expect. I ordered two supposed cafe de olla or as they call two cinnamon coffee, which was the most flavorless coffee I’ve ever had in my life. Cash only place!! But the main complaint for me is the waiter. If this place wants to have success that lady should change her damn attitude cause she’s the one bringing the place down!!

For Authentic Mexican food in Boyle Hights, this was perfect. Their prices were very affordable but be sure you bring cash because they don't take credit cards.
I order the chilaquiles with green sauce and carne asada. The food was ok, very bland. Place is ok.

Had a wet Burrito. Rice beans asada and the salsa was good. The food felt really fresh and tasty. Only one thing and my preference the burrito had no onion or Cilantro. Definitely will visit again. Oh chips and salsa were Hella good.
