I have been to this restaurant a few times for the lomo and had a decent time. This time, I ordered bread for an appetizer and it never came. It was until we got our dish that they explained to us they did not have potatoes nor bread. I was served my lomo without the fries and with really raw meat, the meat tasted like pure blood. I was then told by the 'owner' that is how I should eat my lomo. Mind you, I have been there several times and had lomo at various other establishments and never had this happen. The owner continued to say that is how he likes it and cooks it and thus, I should also eat it like that. If they didn't have the means necessary to serve a complete dish (because they had a private event) they should have turned us away at the door, which would have been the professional and responsible thing to do. However they said they would serve us. If I would have known they didn't have all the ingredients and that I was to be lectured on how to enjoy my lomo, I would have a walked away. All to pocket a few extra dollars ...

Truly exquisite Argentine quisine. Their cerviche is delicious and with fish or beef to finish is a tie.

Yummy food! Happy to have been able to walk in on a Saturday as a group of 4 and be accommodated right away. Definitely worth trying but..Be aware of their verbiage when dining, they might try to upsell ya on water, etc. Also the check felt like a trap.. They added a service charge that ended up being 20% when doing the math. But still had a dedicated line showing suggested tip amounts. So you might end up tipping twice which isn’t the end of the world but still felt pretty deceitful.

I had the opportunity to dine at Los Balcones. While the food was good and the service, excellent, my friend and I were surprised that a hefty SERVICE CHARGE was added before tax, and we didn't see any thing on the menu. As we were hurried to get to our show on time, I didn't address it there, but I called and left a message for the waiter to call me and he did not. So, prospective customers, BEWARE!!

I didn't like it at all and the food had nothing to do with Peru :(???

My Peruvian boyfriend and I go to Peruvian restaurants in every city we visit and Los Balcones is the best one. The seasoning, the quality of ingredients, and the service were amazing. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Los Balcones is an amazing family owned restaurant that features the best of Peruvian food. Please don’t miss the Seco de Carne or the Ceviche. Hands down the best Peruvian cuisine I have gotten outside of Lima. The food and the atmosphere will bring you back time and again.

Been trying out many different peruvian spots around LA and this is my favorite so far in the WeHo/Hollywood area. The restaurant is really beautiful and the staff were extremely kind. Food came out quick and tasted great. Portion sizes here are a little smaller than at some other peruvian spots around town, but not an issue if you're ordering multiple plates to share (which i recommend!) Went with an actual Peruvian who gave the spot two thumbs up - only thing I wish they had were yuca fries and suspiro!

When I arrived, despite making reservations and receiving confirmation texts, etc., the restaurant was closed. No notice on the door. I called, but no answer, no outgoing message. My guests and I had no alert, no chance to make other plans, etc. They appear to have shut down the business.

Stopped in here by mistake. Was looking for restaurant next door, but returned. Food and cocktails: Spicy margarita and regular margarita soooooo good. Plantains, Lomo Saltado fries were DELICIOUS!!! Carlos and Tina hooked us up. We'll be back. On a Friday/Saturday for Tina to make her Espresso Martini with Pisco i/o vodka.

Good taste of the food, unfortunately they wanted to charge me for dishes that we did not consume, and afterwards there was a fight apparently someone on the staff was drunk And the treatment to be able to pay is terrible.
