We went on a busy, rainy morning the day before Christmas Eve. Went to order tamales for the holidays and also grabbed breakfast with the family. I had a large breakfast burrito and it was really delicious. Even though it took about 15 minutes, it was a walk-in order during a super busy time of year, so it didn’t feel like much of a wait at all. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable, and it was nice seeing LA in the rain.

Ordered 4 tacos and the tortillas were cold, seems as they just took it out of the refrigerator. The salsa smelled rancid and not fresh. I ordered guacamole with each taco and paid extra and did not receive any.

The quality and service is okay, the hype with the movie is the only reason this place is relevant. If you want better tamales and food seek some where else, the customer service is not good. Being treated like a stranger instead of a client with respect is crazy.

We absolutely love Los 5 Puntos! We pick up tamales from them every Christmas. The tamales are amazing! Tasty, full of beef, and perfection! Everyone loves them!
Excellent Mexican deli with tacos made by hand. I had the tacos de chicharrón and carnitas, both were great but I have to give a slight edge to the chicharrón taco. I ordered the combo #1 which included up to a 20oz drink and it came out to just over $11. Service felt personalized and the line moved fairly quickly. Parking is tricky so I just parked on a nearby street and walked over.

Easy to order and quick turnaround. The market is bustling and busy but lots of staff to help. The carnitas tacos were very good. Topped with nopales, cilantro, onion and salsa verde and on fresh delicious tortillas. $3.49 a taco but they were big and packed. Should have tried this place a long time ago.

We were recommended to this place by my mom's hairstylist. My review on this restaurant starting with the parking. The parking is very reduced and they have 1 handicap parking only. I saw many people park on the street. The tables are outside which in my opinion was great since it wasn't raining, nor cold. The line to place our order was decent. The cashier was amazing!!! Great customer service and very friendly. Now the Best part the food..... I'm speechless... My mom and I order sopes. Let me tell you they tasted so delicious from the sope to the beans, meat, lettuce, cream every single bite was heavennnnn. We also bought tamales very delicious too. I will definitely will be coming back to this place.

Must stop every time I’m in town. Great food with large portions without lacking flavor. Fresh hand made tortilla straight from the comal. I always go with buche and chicharron, and the tripa is amazing too. Fast service and great atmosphere.
