My review won't be that bad on a small business. Decent bread selection. The cashier does sanitize her hands between accepting/giving change customers give her. The only thing I will be harsh on is on one of the employees. I peaked to see if the baker's were wearing masks. The cashier and a male baker were. These are terrible times and a woman baker wasn't wearing a mask! Yes they are uncomfortable and hot. They will be hotter if you're near an oven. Wear a mask. If you choose not to, don't have conversations. Stop the spread.

Just a good simple neighborhood bakery. Just conveniently next door to the podiatrist clinic. Very pleasant and friendly lady at the counter. I always make my stop when in East LA and pick up some Mexican carbs.

This must of the most delicious spot for Mexican bread! The customer service is great. Adelina was answering all my questions at ease. The chicken and green tamales are on another level too! Really spicy but amazing taste!

Would definitely avoid this place. My mother purchased an empanada at this location. It was her first time (and last) buying from this establishment. She took her empanada home and when she was going to eat it, THE INSIDE WAS ROTTEN!! So gross!! To me it seems they don't rotate their breads/don't bake on a daily basis.

I like this bakery because it is just a bakery in that they don't try to be all fancy or fusion... They make mexican bread or pan dulce the way I remember as a young boy. Know I dont claim to know the ingredients in which 20+ years ago I think the bread was made with lard. I don't know if that has changed but they taste the same, look the same and give me the same happiness. They are kinda hard too see, not great visibility when the trees are in bloom and signage is old but they make the effort. Many of the surronding bakeries have a B rating often. I had been coming here for many years and never saw less than an A. This way you get your order is in the typical old fashioined way of grabbing your platter and filling it with the breads of your seelction. They count it up and let you know your price. I like it and when I come back in town I torture myself with some pan dulce from this place. (Pan dulce not the healthiest choice anywhere) I suggest a visit here for good ol' pan dulce with some cafe de olla which I think they make here.
