This is a must visit in El Sereno! I went here for lunch with a friend on the weekend. Humberto and Christina, the owners, made us feel like family. They were so sweet and welcoming, taking extra time to wait on us and giving us samples of chicharrones and their homemade piña drink. I had the carnitas quesadilla and my friend had their tacos. The portions were huge and salsa was fantastic. They make it fresh everyday. Christina told me about a special type of grain from Mexico they have to make quesadillas with so I want to try that next time. Their fried tilapia looked incredible too! We sat on the patio and it was just lovely. Some regular customers even started chatting with us and talked about how close they were to Humberto and Christina as well. Very special restaurant run by a beautiful family!

Mom and Pop store. They gave food to order. Great conversation while you wait, hopefully your not in a rush. The Chicharron is so good. Sold by the pound but can get half. NY daughter absolutely loved the sopes. The tortas are also very good. They have tables in the back. Small liquor store items sold here.

The Mole enchiladas are the very very best that I have ever tried compared to anywhere in EAGLE Rock, Highland Park or East LA. I love these people and this place. Decent prices and authentic quality Mexican food. Come and enjoy traditional Mexican food and see it for yourself. I highly recommend this place. Thank you Los Pinos.

A whole in the wall place,never been here. I've driven through El Sereno many times. Small but clean a mom & pop shop. To my surprise, two thumbs up Torta de CarneAsada & the molitas de asada very tasty last but not least Horchata Agua fresca. I recommend this place.
My boyfriend and I decided to spontaneously make a stop here for food. I’ve tried a lot of tortas from many places, but the torta w/ asada from this place was *chef’s kiss. (Usually, I don't even like asada, but my boyfriend likes asada) Everything is made on the spot, and in big portions- I always have yummy leftovers for later.The couple here is super friendly and their service is amazing. They even let me leave my scooter parked in the back while we went exploring around the neighborhood! I wholeheartedly recommend making a stop at this place if you are in the area.
