Overall: The rooftop itself is stunning, but I’m not sure what the vision is for the space. It doesn’t feel like it's being utilized to its full potential. I watched an interview with the owners, and while they don’t want it to feel like a nightclub, the setup with security, ropes creating lines, and two girls working the door felt like it leaned in that direction. The crowd, music, layout, and overpriced drinks all left me wondering if they need to go back to the drawing board.
Crowd: Lost DTLA’s crowd really confused me. It felt like there was no clear target demographic. The mix of people didn’t seem to align with what I expected based on the owners' vibe. There’s a real disconnect between the crowd and what the venue seems to be going for.
Music: The flyer said DJ R-Tistic would be spinning on Saturday, but it turned out to be someone else. The mixes were pretty rough, and we ended up leaving around 11:30 pm. Music can make or break a place like this, and unfortunately, it didn’t hit the mark.
Drinks: I tried both the espresso martini and a spicy margarita. Both were disappointing, especially the margarita, which was disgusting. I ended up leaving it untouched at the table, despite it costing $32 (plus a $3 tip). Honestly, for that price, I was expecting much better quality, larger portions, and a more enjoyable experience.
Food: I didn’t order food this time, but some people were able to bring up food from Downtown Dough (the same owners). I had the taco stand food last year, and it was just okay for the price.
Service: Our server was a real sweetheart. She was new and super friendly. However, the bartenders could use some improvement in customer service. They were slow, and it seemed like there was confusion over who was next in line. Maybe having two separate bars could speed things up and improve the flow.
Pricing: The pricing here is way too high, especially for the quality of food and drinks. The $32 margarita was a joke for the size and taste. The taco stand prices were similarly inflated. They really need to reconsider how they’re pricing everything if they want people to come back.
Final Thoughts: While my experience wasn’t great, I’m not ready to write this place off completely. The coffee shop downstairs seems to be doing well, so it’s clear the owners have a good business sense. I just don’t understand why they’d overcharge for food and drinks that don’t live up to the hype. Hopefully, they take this feedback and work on improving the experience upstairs.

I would absolutely not recommend coming here. I live across the street and have been for 4 years, so it’s many people’s “go to” spot when they come to visit. The way they treat their customers is despicable and they need to learn how to provide better customer service. They hold the lines even with reservations for arbitrary reasons, they make up dress codes, and they treat this place like the crème de la crème of DTLA when it indeed is not. The only reason I’ve gone back is to try to support black businesses, BUT I’m a firm believer that if a black business can’t handle their business, then they don’t deserve my money either. There are SO MANY great spots in DTLA: Joey’s, Shoo Shoo Baby, Zaya, the list goes on. Please give your money to other places. It’s exactly how I felt about Somerville in Inglewood, but at least they had pretty good food there. Black businesses need to provide the same caliber of high quality service and respect as any other.

The security staff was so bad. They said one person wasn’t wearing the right attire in the group, we asked who so they could change, but refused to tell us. Meanwhile people were not only coming out, but also going in were dressed more casually. Not worth it.
Would agree with another reviewer, this place will soon close, or change security firms, it contributes nothing to the community or society in general.
I finally visited LOST, it was 🔥 that night, the Afro-Beats were flowing, the D. J’s were nice, my food 🥘 was good, server was cute ☺️ and efficient, I will return. 👍🏾

Aesthetic is really nice, but this is a rooftop bar, with no cover in Downtown Los Angeles, not a club in BH. They're definitely overplaying their hand with the arbitrary dress code for an OUTDOOR bar. I've been a few weeks ago after they first opened, but after going back for a second time, I had an experience that left a bad taste in my mouth with my interaction with the staff. I understand the gate keepers at the front are merely messengers, but at the same time, it felt very regressive having men trying to mansplain very specific dress codes to women... After my interaction about a "logo" on my pant leg, my group gladly left and we spent our bread elsewhere. Probably won't return.

This place was terrible! They refused to let me in because I was wearing Uggs! They let in people with tennis shoes but Uggs were not “appropriate”??? I actually checked the website before I went and NO DRESSCODE posted. The bodyguard acknowledged it was not posted but they still refused to let me in even though my party was already seated. Unprofessional, Rude,, no customer service and never going back.

These folks really think they are in Beverly Hills. The location has homeless people and very dirty atmosphere outside the restaurant. Terrible vibe and customer service very bad.

As a first timer, this place was amazing! The wait time for my reservation did take a little longer than expected but as soon as my friend and I were seated, our server, Divine, took great care of us. The drinks are phenomenal and the music was GREAT! Definitely worth visiting in the DTLA area.
