So close to my hair salon I HAVE to come and get chicken. I love them so much food and for a great price. Each location always hits. Don't be scared of the atmosphere and people hanging around. I just get and get out and try not to make eye contact

This review is mostly for the chicken b/c I've only had one or two other things besides the chicken. The chicken is always hot and fresh and so are the fries. I get family orders and all family orders are made to order. The shrimp fried rice is delicious as well. My wife says the gumbo was really good too but I can't speak to that. I don't care for the fish b/c they use tilapia. I wish they had catfish.

I’ve been coming here for a while now. The chicken and the gumbo hit and miss! I guess like most places. Today I ordered a small gumbo and a snack pack with a breast. The fries didn’t appear to be fresh but by the time I realized it I’d already left. The chicken wasn’t fried crispy enough and the dinner roll didn’t seem fresh either. Needless to say this was definitely one of those misses.
Food was average at best.Saw they had a B rating after ordering.I didnt pay it any mind until 20 mins after eating, the bathroom session was legendary. Stomach was rumbling, it passed threw me with explosiveness. I dont know if they used old chicken grease or old chicken. But it definitely had a misunderstanding with my belly. And also the female companion i was with stomach was bubbling as well.The service was good.Atmosphere was iffy. Unscrupulous individuals lurking around..I wouldnt go back based off of the issues it gave my digestion system. AT ALL.I usually NEVER write reviews, but was compelled after going to war with the toilet.God bless
