Yet another hip bar has figured out to flatten a burger patty and up charge it by adding too much salt. Yea, it's a fine contemporary smash burger, but the Gator fries were uninspired, up priced, In n Out Animal Fries. It is a cool spot, but go down the street for food, here for drinks.

I came here on a date last night, the drinks were decent so we decided to order some food...the food was rotten, I'm not exaggerating it smelt like dog poop, rotten food, like a garbage can. I complained to the manager in charge tonight and called the food “Trash” and instead of fixing the issue he took it personally and decided to kick me out without even issuing a refund, just because I was upset about his poor service and having eaten foul food, it's unacceptable, bad business & service. I will be contacting the Los Angeles Public Health Agency & the Better Business Bureau about this, it's disgusting that my date and I had to eat rotten food only to be kicked out for valid complaining. The manager got in my face and put hands on me, and then called security when I told him not to touch me. All I did was complain about being served rotten food, they should simply examine the food and then issue the refund no need to get physical, deciding wether or not I should file a lawsuit for being physically touched & forced out, not happy at all, horrible experience.

READ YOUR FULL RECEIPT! Yesterday we came in for happy hour. We pointed at the happy hour menu when ordering a shot of tequila (for $8 during this time) and that’s all we wanted. Our waiter was kind and listed the different options for tequila. When we got the check, we saw we were charged $17 for the single shot. We were charged for the top shelf , but that’s just not what we wanted. We didn’t know it was additional pricing. There was no indication of so. It was a miscommunication for sure, but I wish our waiter was more helpful. We have come here quite often. Some times, they will charge us without letting us see our bill. We usually get the same waitress in the evening who had previously charged us for two drinks we didn’t even order. We also have been unable to split a bill because she didn’t feel like it. This place used to be a nice spot to go to, but after all the disappointing service we’ve gotten, I’m unsure if we will come back.

"Because someone told me not to"Simply the worst answer to deny someone entry in a bar. Y'all suck.

We waited one hour for our order (3 burgers, 2 fries). Defeats all the purpose of a burger joint.Food was good but i was so hungry at the point, i could have eaten anything lol, definitely not worth the hustle.

Change your hours on Google! I pull up at 7:40pm and they’re cutting the lights off. But Google definitely says they’re open late. So which is it?Never tried this place before either.

It appears that many patrons seem to come here while waiting to get in for Donna's next door. As for us, we had an order of the fries and burger. The fries were nice and hot, and come with ketchup and aioli. The fries are the soggy kind, almost too soggy and overfried, but not over salted and did the job. If you're not not into soft fries, these are not for you. The burger was alright -- as someone put it "not a burger worth driving an hour for," but good as a stand-alone.Seating is ample and casual.Parking is mostly street/metered parking.

First time in the area and I was confused as to where the bar was. I asked the cashier if there was a dining area aka the bar area since all I saw was the To Go sign and Donna's next door and she never clarified there even was a bar.Ended up ordering at the To Go area after assuming Lowboy was a soley to go experience. The food took a pretty long time. You can tell the ingredients are supposed to be "fresher" which is evident in their high prices but sometimes fresher ingredients does not mean better taste. The meat was underseasoned and the fries were overdone and oversalted. The margarita I ordered was barely filled halfway.I feel disappointed and scammed.
