On the UCLA campus, my Alma mater. Great snacking place, usually also has hot fresh lentil soups, for starving students literally. Best croissants and pastries too.

Vegetarian options: Vegan sandwiches

Kid-friendliness: Special little chairs.

A nice grab-and-go eatery on the upper east side of the UCLA campus. Several choices for hot made to order food. Good coffee too. The mini bookstore downstairs is convenient for snacks and school supplies.

Now that has been 9 months since I've gone to a restaurant due to the pandemic, I've been thinking a lot past times in my life where I had the luxury to go to a restaurant and eat in peace. And strangely, LuValle was that place for many years when I was studying at UCLA. The best thing about the food was the variety - salads, asian, burgers, soups, pizza, all under one roof. The food ranged from average to good - the bbq pasta salad and tomato mozzarella pesto sandwiches...
