BRUH ! I would have taken a picture but it’s already halfway gone, I’ve ordered here before and the food is always good … but today I tried the chilaquiles with a couple chicken tacos to satisfy my breakfast and lunch for the day and WOW. Fresh, great flavor, just perfect!

I have been sleeping on Lupitas! Went there a few years ago to get cake. Just now decided to try their food...DELICIOUS! Had the hard chicken tacos and soft carne asada tacos. Perfect amount of meat in both. Very tasty and definitely going back.

I live in commerce, CA and I was doing some deliveries near this area and I saw this bakery stop for a quick bite, looked clean and well organized. Everything I saw look delicious and tempting. Every one was welcomeming to me and love how they acknowledge every customer. The food I had was delicious in flavor, chicken tacos, cookies oatmeal, amazing prices for quality food "another mazing bakery in LA in my list"

How terrible. There is roaches running around on top of the baked goods. Not only that but the driver is so rude. He tried to crash into me after I told him I’ll never order anything from here.

The cake fell soon as it got in the car they didn't put rods or anything to hold the 3 layer cake.. I paid $400 for my daughter's Quince cake and they only offered $60 for their mistake 0/10 I don't recommend!
I'm really disappointed and just frustrated. Paid $345 for a cake that I could of bought from Albertson. The cake was really dry, red velvet was not even sweet , the filling was not creme cheese like it was suppose to be. To much whip creme , whole cake shifted and tipped over. Wasn't driving fast or nothing . First time I bought a cake from here was for my baby 1st birthday . I don't think I'll be getting another cake from here. I feel like I waisted my money and could have saved over $200 by just going to Albertsons . The money paid did not match the cake. If I can give 0 stars I would.

I ordered a cake with a coating of butter cream. When I received the cake, the coating was ALL WHIP CREAM. Signs on the store state that all cakes will have an outer layer of whipe cream; however, since I ordered butter cream for the coating, the majority would be just that. Unfortunately, when we cut the cake, we realized it was again, all whipped cream. I called the bakeey three times, spoke to different employees including Cici who expressed she would make sure the Manager MARTHA contacts me regarding the matter. Its been 4 days since I submitted my complaint and have not heard back from anyone here. Completely unprofessional, unreliable, and incompetent. Definitely my last time I purchasing from this place.

This place is great, first and foremost you people on this review thread here are disgusting. If you want a top tier cake go somewhere that does that and pay the premium for it. Gonna be way more than $200 even for a small one. You guys go to a bakery in South Central expect Picasso Style perfection, want to pay the least amount possible and then nit pick and cry about minor details. Also if they say they can’t or won’t do something for your special order, why are you pressing them to do it? Who do y’all think y’all are. You people are disgusting

The first and last time I will come here the customer service here is horrible this cake was paid for in advance and when the time came to pick up a big air bubble in the middle and the manager has no idea how it happened she mentioned I would have to wait a few hours for it to be redone ?? Why do I have to wait if this bakery order was place in advance no workers have any hair net smh !!! 0-0 if I could
I ordered a birthday cake and was very disappointed. I ordered a plain heart shaped cake with buttercream only and cookies and cream filling that I paid extra for. I was explained that they use an outer layer of whipped cream for smoothness and without that, the cake wouldn't be as smooth. I asked if it could be made with buttercream only otherwise I wouldn't place an order. I was assured they could and I expressed I do not eat whipped cream and am okay with the understanding of the finish may be different without the whipped cream layer. Cake order was placed with bold writing BUTTERCREAM ONLY. Anywho, picked up the cake and it was pretty, no complaints initially. Take it to the event hours later and as the establishments brings the cakes slices out, there is barely any filling in the cake and the to my surprise there is whipped cream as the outer layer. I called Lupita's the next day to share my disappointment, that not only was the cake not what I asked for, I was unable to enjoy my own birthday cake day of and thereafter. Their solution was to offer me a credit for a $30 cake when I paid $150 for the cake I ordered. Martha the manager was polite, but really didn't see the resolution as problem. Additionally, after I sent a picture of the filling, she stated that it was only slightly thinner than what they normally put in a cake. The filling was as thin as a piece of cardstock paper. So I paid extra money for a premium filling only to not be able to taste it, what a joke. A rip off!!!!! I asked if they would be able to return any portion of my money for a cake that I cannot eat and Martha offered to give me a $30 refund for the whipped cream being put on the cake in place of the store credit. I will not ever be returning to this establishment to purchase a cake and I do not recommend to others. The cake itself was a bit on the dry side, the cake to filling ratio is completely off, they do not find it necessary to find a resolve when they make errors that is equitable and fair. The only reason they get 2 stars is because everyone I spoke with was polite and kind.
