These folks are my kind of coffee nerds, great diversity of lighter roasted beans, they seem to have a soft spot for interesting beans, natural process, honey washed, neat co-ferments. Everything they make is expertly crafted, drinks or beans.
We swung by Mad Lab and enjoyed some coffee. We found street parking right out front. The location is small with only a few small tables. We ordered and got our drinks very quickly. I got an iced Mocha and my husband got a Cortado. Both were very tasty. I only wish there was more space to hang out but otherwise highly recommend.

A solid coffee spot! I ordered their matcha latte with lavender sweetener and it was just the right amount of sweetness without taking away from the matcha. They also have a different locations in LA!

Small but cute space with outlets at every table and free wifi. Not too busy on a Saturday - a lot of people are usually in and out. Barista was super friendly! Coffee was pretty good.

Coffee is realllyyy good here, but as a head's up they do not have decaf lattes (I am currently pregnant so this matters to me in the current season).

My friend didn't like her coffee, but she liked the pastry she chose. Fast and friendly service. Not many places to sit except for a couple tables outside and a bench inside. Super tiny and the other shops were mostly closed despite it being open hours... Unfortunately not for me, but to each their own
