Stopped by Madlab Coffee in Hollywood on a Monday early morning while just walking around. It's a small spot but what it lacks in size, it makes up for in friendly vibes and great coffee. I stopped by here to grab a Matcha on my way to work. Love the cute little window and tables. I ordered the apple pie matcha and thought it was going to be overly sweet, but it was PERFECT. Honestly one of the best matcha combos I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be back!

This is the place that's good enough that I buy 2 mochas so I have one for later after they've closed (walking past more than a couple of places to get here). Espresso is always excellent - robust, complex, never burned. Drink is always made well. Service is always friendly. There's another v good shop right down the street and I even did a side-by-side taste test this trip - they have different flavor profiles but both are top notch. Highly recommend.
