I went with my coworker and he was served a taco with metal in it. Their solution was a replacement taco not happy. We will not return after this experience.

My boyfriend and I were drugged here by wait staff back in February of 2023. Do not come here under ANY circumstances.
Hard pass. Went on a Sat night for special occasion and everything was whack. Waiting 15 min to get waters (then she never came back to take our orders, mind you it was dead in there). After 30 min of being ignored, we left from the rude service. Also prices were tourist-level inflated. Only plus was the pretty interior, but don’t judge a book by its bougie cover.

I love this place. I am from Mexico and this place is just perfect, same quality of a good good restaurant in Oaxaca. The hand made Tortillas are the best in Los Angeles, loved the mole, I had the chile relleno, and it was an amazing vegetarian option for me. Service was so warm and friendly. I want to take all my friends to this place so Definitely I will be back!

Wonderful ambience, food is delicious (ceviche, guacamole, tacos, carne asada); loved the mezcal margaritas; service was great ( Iris was very attentive and we appreciated her recommendations)

The food is definitely authentic, and i could not get enough of their handmade tortillas and sauces. The music and atmosphere blended in so well with the spot. The wait was a bit long, but overall, it was a good experience and will probably be one of my favorite go-to Mexican restaurants in West Hollywood.

Appalling food and drinks. Flavorless enchilada, just greasy.

PSA ya’ll…. Madre’s happy hour now goes Monday—Fri 3–7! This is my favorite happy hour in LA, and I’m only sharing it so freely because it blows my mind more people don’t seem to know! Madres has ambiance for days, amazing Oaxacan food, and the happy hour deals are unreal. Everything they do they do at the top of their game…tortillas, salsa and chips are homemade…the best margs and mezcal around…the moles are balanced…even the water for the table is cucumber water lol. You could never go wrong with the taquitos, mole negro enchiladas, homemade chips and salsa, and Madre’s enchiladas. Only thing I didn’t love, for feedback purposes, was the Rajas con Queso Taco. Flavor and texture were a miss for me.

The omelette & the huevos unbelievably tasty and not too heavy. The horchata & coffee amazing. Service was so friendly. The outdoor patio is relaxed. Perfect for an afternoon Sunday brunch 🙂↕️🐣
