Our drinks were lackluster and not well seasoned. We had Micheladas that just tasted like water. The guacamole tasted sour as if it was going bad. Each dish came late and was missing an item. Our server was slow to take our order didn't take complete orders and was delayed in bringing forgotten items. The mole was mitter and tasted off. The entire experience was upsetting and disappointing.

Very upset, all I wanted was some hot sauce for my tacos and he brings salsa and apparently charged $3 for it and didn’t tell me I’m already on a budget and got the cheapest thing on the menu and am very hungry so instead of paying $3 for not even good salsa I could’ve just spent $5 for a taco The food was whatever And it is a pretty location but very upset that my bill should’ve been below $20 but was over $20 because some mediocre salsa that he didn’t even bring out until I was already through my first taco and halfway done with my last taco So barely even used the salsa
Also the guy was nice but super slow I had to wait for everything even bill at least 5-10 min before even getting menu

When I tell you this place is incredible… on every point! Food amazing, atmosphere is such a vibe, service and staff are so welcoming and accommodating and QUICK!
We ordered the following for 3 people and were stuffed and had plenty of leftovers:
- chips and trio of salsa: I am still mind blown about the variety of salsas, the flavor complexity, the range of spice and ingredients in each. 10/10
- squash blossoms (forgot to take picture): so delightful, stuffed with a cheese mixture and the perfect consistency and crunch on the fried blossom. 10/10
- 3 mole plate: loved trying the different mole options, my palate is not quite as seasoned when it comes to mole so I favored the “traditional” sweeter brown mole. Would just get this one next time (forgot what they called it) 8.7/10
- carne asada plate: an assortment of Oaxacan cheese, grilled cactus, beans, mole enchilada, and the most tender, flavorful and juicy steak. Just wow 10/10
Churros: omg…. Just omg. Melt in your mouth churros, most DELECTABLE Mexican dark chocolate to dip them in… I dream about these 10/10
This is now our go-to Mexican spot. Such an elevated take on our traditional Mexican food outings. Prices were very fair especially for the quality and ambiance of this places picking up a to-go order as we speak.
It’s worth noting that we went with our friend who was born in Mexico City and has had the best of the best Oaxacan food and she was floored by this place!

This restaurant is incredible! The server Jose was incredibly attentive and friendly and gave us recommendations since it was our first time. Even my picky eater nephew ate all of his food. Jose also gave my mom a complementary sample serving of their cafe de olla and it was delicious! Next time we are in LA we are definitely coming back!
