It's been a while since I ordered from Magnolia Bakery, and I'm so glad I decided to again! DoorDash had an outdated menu item, and instead of just canceling it, Magnolia actually called me to pick a replacement, offer recommendations, and even offered to upgrade my dessert. When does that ever happen? That really left a good impression! My order never actually made it to my home because my DoorDasher completed the order before he even came? 😅 so I'm writing this as I wait for the replacement. Still. I'm just happy be a customer again! (and I hope the DoorDasher enjoys it as much as I would have).

Penelope was as helpful as she was delightful. I was debating between the banana and apple(seasonal?) pudding. She suggested I try a sample of it and opted to get both since they were uniquely delicious. I did not know samples were an option so that was a useful surprise. She also gave me a bag of ice to hold me over since I had to drive a bit. I am relieved to say my goodies arrived in good condition because of it. I am so grateful treating customers well is still a thing. Thank you.

Service is gotten worse here. The ladies were always nice and welcoming.
They make serious Lattes.
Restroom: The smell of soiled towels stacked up in cart in the restroom is getting bad.

6” German chocolate with buttercream and coconut! The cake was delicious! It tasted like an Almond Joy Chocolate!

Magnolia Bakery never fails to impress! I’ve only been to the Chicago location before, and this was my first time visiting here — it’s just as good! Magnolia still has the best banana pudding I’ve ever had. I also tried their brownie, and it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever tasted. I originally wanted to try the chocolate pudding, but they were sold out (next time for sure!). Overall, the service was quick, and the staff were super sweet.

This place was lovely. Parking in the area is very difficult so make sure to account that in. I was dropped off so that I could pop in. The food is fantastic and well worth the stop.

I went to pick up a pint of banana pudding. Everything went normally. Pudding was amazing like the one and only time I had it before.

I am a regular customer of magnolia bakery anywhere I go and today I was in the store on 3rd street and I only had cash. I forgot my credit card in my car and I told the employee that I would be right back as I had to go to my car to get the credit card and she followed me outside and said it was ok that the order was free on them and I couldn't believe she said that. It wasn't really about the money, it was just the gesture in general was amazing and that's the defi6if excellent customer service! So I just had to write a review complementing the staff there. Unfortunately I don't remember the lady's name but she was just great! Thank you so much Magnolia Bakery team!

Magnolias is the BEST!! I go every week and the vanilla cupcakes and keylime ice bar are my favorites. The banana pudding is yummy too. Customer service is superb!

After overcoming the challenge of finding parking near the bakery, I was so disappointed to be told that we could only purchase large orders of banana pudding, with no option to serve a smaller portion in a larger cup. (For context, we were the only customers, and they were literally scooping out pudding into cups while discussing this.) That kind of inflexibility doesn’t reflect good customer service to me. As an out-of-town visitor, the lack of flexibility and customer service was frustrating enough that we left without purchasing anything, including an additional item that my daughter wanted. I’d suggest they consider offering reasonable alternatives rather than turning customers away.

Famous for banana pudding, but honestly, their seasonal pies are just as good. The shop has a retro charm and always smells heavenly. I grabbed a mini chocolate pecan pie that didn’t even make it home. Staff are patient even when the line stretches outside. A little pricey, but worth the indulgence.

The vibe was the same like the one I visited in India. The banana pudding is yummy but the cake was too sweet for palette.
