Amazing food! And incredibly kind staff. My friends and I got stuck waiting outside for a gig and the kind staff of Mama Chuy invited us inside their restaurant to wait and stay warm. They didn't expect anything from us, instead keep us safe. We ended up ordering the nachos, Carne asade tacos, and churros. Everything was delicious! We definitely found our new favorite Taco spot in LA!

This place is AMAZING. I come here every week and the food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and truly authentic. You can tell everything is made with care and quality ingredients. The staff is always super friendly and welcoming, and the prices are fantastic for how good the food is. It’s hands-down one of my favorite Mexican spots and I recommend it to everyone. Never disappoints!

I've lived in LA for thirty years. Mama Chuy has the best burrito I've had so far. And yes, I remember every burrito I've ever eaten in LA.

Just average. My quesadilla was drenched in juice and oil. Very very salty, too. Nice guys tho!

I ate here once and loved the steak burrito. Unfortunately I ordered the same steak burrito which gave me food poisoning. I have now spent the past several days running to the toilet as a result

We were in town to meet my in-laws and weren't sure where we were (totally lost). So there we were starving and looking for this dive bar. But we found Mama Chuy's instead. They always told me to hit the food trucks for Mexican food in LA. But this place was absolutely out of this world! Can't recommend highly enough!!

Oh my god. I came across this spot on Uber eats. Ordered a quesadilla and even with it being delivered, it was one of the best I’ve ever had. Perfection. Literally so good and massive. Wow this is the place my life has been missing

Everything was so fresh, from the inside windows you can watch them make the tortillas by hand and fry them. The carne asada was so tender, almost melt in your mouth and the quesadilla had a perfect fry. If you ever are in the area, try this place. The atmosphere is also amazing with the art on the wall. 10/10. Also it was only $9 for the quesadilla which is a steal in my opinion.

Fried Quesadilla! Melted cheese with the Asada! Sour cream and lettuce on top like Flautas but way better!
And the 3$ taco…. Full pieces of grilled Asada Steak! Classic onion and cilantro toppings, verde salsa! Such great seasoning on the Asada!
Sorry I didn’t take a picture… but you go try it!

Authentic Mexican food, including Mexico City-style deep-fried quesadillas. Family-owned and operated.
