Wow where do I start. The service was slow, and quality was way down compared to the location on 3rd and prior experiences here. Didn't enjoy the meal tbh.
Always deliver order is less priority and always whenever I come for pick up staffs always ignore and careless. Nobody wants to come in front to help. Bad service

The restaurant server is very attentive and extremely kind. I recommend this restaurant to anyone for special occasions and we can get away.
We love Manpuku and are repeat customers. It's such delicious food with incredible service.
Great food, great service. Came to dine as two adults and two 11-year olds. The meat and the umami rice were delicious!
The food itself is just average, nothing you can’t find at plenty of other bbq spots around LA. But what really ruins the experience is the service. Waiting forever just to get two tiny pieces of meat is ridiculous. The staff seemed inattentive and slow, and it’s hard to enjoy your meal when everything takes so unnecessarily long. Definitely not worth the time or money

I had the best time here! I’m usually overwhelmed by bbq spots like this, but the service made it very easy and fun. Luis, thank you for being so kind and energetic! We loved having you as our server. All of the food was incredible. It’s a great spot for groups especially with the preset menu. Will be coming back again soon!

Manpuku was pretty tasty! Tried the 4th of July wagyu special and it had a lot of side dishes... unfortunately, it was a little pricey for the ultimate amount of meat we got. Felt like we got a lot of filler sides (roasted corn, kimchi, beef stew, edamame, salad) and they were fairly slow bringing out the meat (20-25 min after sides). Quality of all the food was quite good. Just wished we could have gotten to the beef sooner... timing to grilled meats was pretty slow... final bill was a bit steep but quality and service was there...
It’s pretty mediocre. Thick beef tongue is very good. Other than that meat is either bland or very salty. For the price point I’d expect a bit more. Oh and the portion is very small we ended up getting taco afterwards.

The food is good. The sound of the exhaust fan, which they cannot turn off, is defining
The quality of the food is only surpassed by the quality of the wonderful staff! Hands down best meat ever, and you can cook how YOU want it. 11/10
Manpuku is hands-down one of the best Japanese BBQ spots in LA. The food is consistently amazing – every cut of meat is high quality, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection right at your table. The service is just as impressive: attentive, friendly, and fast without being rushed. Whether you’re going for a casual night out or a special occasion, Manpuku delivers every time. I truly love this place – it’s a go-to for delicious food and a great overall experience. Highly recommend.
Best Japanese BBQ in Los Angeles. Better than all high end korea BBQ restaurants we have gone to in Los Angeles.
The higher end full course option is our go to. It is worth it. The standard option is good to, but the taste variations from the salad, the soup, and the meat is worth the extra $30 ish a person.
Price usually comes in @ roughly $240 for 2 people.
Cuteee. Finally tried after hearing the name for years. Nice to have yakiniku option. Cold noodle super gooddd. Free parking lot. Often full. Nearby lot with small cloud chase and street parking
