It's a tragedy that Manzke is closing at the end of February. A restaurant this good shouldn't have to close. Everything is fantastic. The food is rich in flavor with a cocktail and wine list as close to perfection as possible. I'd encourage anyone who loves fine dining to enjoy Manzke while you can. Oh, and the butter is heavenly...

I dined here in Dec 2023 and had their winter menu. Start to finish, their dishes were amazing. The desserts were some of my favorite moments and I can't stop thinking about that macadamia hot chocolate. I would come back here again.

Didn't get the dessert I wanted. Didn't want truffle but since she brought it on the table so we got up charged. Didn't like the cocktail that said to be AMAZING. Overall not worth $900+

I am absolutely over the moon with my experience. I shared with the restaurant beforehand that my wife and I have lost connection with each other and that I was desperate to roll back the clock and win her over again. They took my notes to heart because everyone went out of their way to make our night soooo special. I cannot remember the last time my wife and I had so much fun with each other. The food, the staff, the ambiance..... everything was absolute perfection. It breaks my heart to read that Manzke may not exist after this month. If that is true I'm glad we made it in before it was gone because I will forever remember this experience as the night that my wife and I found each other again. From the bottom of my heart.....thank you Manzke.

The food was excellently cooked and presented but not uniquely tasty. The bread and butter was an experience. $500/person including tax and tip.

One of the best LA restaurants. Unbelievable food. Loving, knowledgeable staff. You feel simultaneously at home and completely pampered here. I will miss this spot and best of luck (not that they'll need “luck”) to everyone in their next move. Thank you for everything.

Holy smokes!!! What a tasting menu!! Not one dish less than excellent!! And speaking of excellent, you would expect nothing less from a fine dining restaurant like Manzke and the service doesn’t disappoint. But while the staff is super professional, they are also friendly and not stiff and hushed. Back to the food. How do I describe all the incredible dishes? I can’t. You just have to believe the Michelin Star and the hype and go. It is worth every penny and the hours it takes.

Celebrating my wife’s birthday at Manzke in Los Angeles was an unforgettable experience from the moment we entered, marked by an ambiance that perfectly balanced elegance and comfort. Each dish we savored was a testament to culinary artistry, featuring complex yet harmonious flavors with a unique and delicious twist on classic recipes. A special highlight of the evening was the impeccably crafted Old Fashioned cocktail, which offered a depth of flavor that beautifully complemented our meal. The service at Manzke was exceptional; the staff were not only attentive and knowledgeable but also contributed significantly to our experience with their professionalism. The warm and inviting atmosphere made it an ideal setting for a special celebration. In conclusion, Manzke is a remarkable dining destination in Los Angeles, perfect for creating lasting memories with its combination of uniquely delicious dishes, exceptional drinks, and top-notch service. It’s highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience for special occasions.

Wonderful French cuisine with Asian influence. I enjoyed all the dishes, and the brioche with butter was spectacular. I took the 100+ glass of 2009 Bordeaux, and it was worth it :). Will probably go back.

The food was exquisite! We went there for my husband's birthday, and it did not disappoint. Wine pairing – phenomenal! Be prepared for the Bill. Pricey, but worth every penny. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Manzke team sure knows how to put together a relaxed, yet refined dinner experience that is worth a visit for any special occasion.Like many who have come before me, it's highly likely that we were first fans of the Manzkes via the LA staple Republique. I am one of them. When I learned that the Manzkes were trying a turn at fine dining, I was intrigued. When Michelin awarded them a star, I added Manzke to my list to hit in 2023. Just a few days before Christmas, I visited Manzke with my family and was impressed with the whole experience - ambiance, service, food - five stars. In the space that formerly housed Picca from years ago, Manzke has done a nice remodel that has opened up the kitchen while still preserving a relaxed and elegant feel to the brownstone walk-up. Immediately upon entering, the front staff saw that our party included two young kids and promptly offered us the private dining room. It's a thoughtful way to address the unique needs of patrons with young children that offers the family a more relaxed dining experience that's isolated from everyone (but feels like an upgrade) and likely preserves the calm atmosphere for all the other patrons. Yes, we missed out on seeing the action in the open kitchen, but we were remarkably more relaxed throughout our 3 hour dining experience instead of feeling on edge that one of our kids was going to cause a tantrum. In fact, we could not have been more grateful to the Manzke staff who were so accommodating of our unique party and made the evening fun and special for the kids (and the adults). They pushed the giant butter cart to our table and allowed our kids to serve the butter - a first in Manzke history per the staff - and showed the kids what a white truffle looked and smelled like - smelled incredible - and more. A special shout out to Megan and the sommelier who were so kind to our party.Onto the food? Technically precise using the freshest ingredients. The dishes skewed more on the seafood side and spanned varying culinary influences from Asian to French. The opening tuna tartar bite with spicy avocado mousse was a perflect complement to the sake. The scallops were delightful as was the kinmedai (golden eye snapper). The bread and butter course interlude was amazing - perhaps our kids favorite. But perhaps our favorite main dish during the multi-course meal was the duck breast. I'm pretty sure this was the best duck breast I've had - incredible quality duck and cooked to perfection. I can still remember the flavor and savoring every bite. As for dessert, we appreciated that they went with lighter flavors versus heavy chocolates and creams that ended up being palate cleansing. The toadstool rack of sweet bites was eye catching and the hazelnut hot chocolate with the warm madeleines invoked fall/winter in a dessert. A shout out to Chef Vincent and team who were manning the kitchen when we dined for an amazing meal.Manzke is a wonderful special occasion experience - it certainly was a rare all family outing to a restaurant of this caliber for us. We were blown away by the professional and yet kind and welcoming service we were fortunate to receive that evening. The food and drinks were sublime and a real treat for all the senses. If you're looking for a place to celebrate special occasions, Manzke should definitely be on your list.

Super popular, too LA fusion... The ingredients alone are okay, theyThe combination cuts off the possibility of being delicious⋯

The sharing what Manzke brought me took me a year to write because it was truly a malicious and disgusting experience. I can only express how heartbroken I am. My expectations for this restaurant were high, but their actions were shocking and devastating. I can firmly say I'll never consider going to Manzke again in my lifetime. This incident occurred on Valentine's Day this year. Despite the significantly higher-priced Valentine's menu, my boyfriend and I decided to go, hoping for a beautiful evening. We even bought a heart-shaped, mirrored Valentine's cake from a cake shop called Motto in advance for the celebration.Because our dinner reservation was in the evening and we were out during the day, concerned about the cake melting, we took it to the restaurant during the daytime, requesting them to keep it for us until our arrival. They readily agreed and confirmed my name.Later, during the dessert part of our meal, we asked for our cake, only to be told, "Sorry, we made a mistake. We served your cake to another table."I was utterly shocked. I asked if they were sure it was a mistake, and then I just started crying. The cake we brought ourselves had been served to another table? Wasn't there any verification before serving it to ensure it was the correct customer? Moreover, the table that received our heart-shaped cake didn't seem surprised at all?I was devastated because I had planned to take beautiful photos of that lovely cake and share the sweet moment. I even brought a Polaroid camera. The most anticipated part of my evening was brutally destroyed. In the end, they only waived the service charge for that evening on our bill. That's it. I believe even that service charge should have been waived. We wouldn't have paid it if they hadn't waived it. Apart from the cake incident, they repeatedly swapped the utensils for my left-handed boyfriend, despite us informing the server twice that he's left-handed.Reflecting on it now, it feels outrageous. You might not know that the food and drinks that evening, excluding the service charge, amounted to $1600. I took that money to the Chef's Table in New York, where they treated me like a princess. Here in LA, they treated me like a fool, someone who cries at the dinner table. Finally, I wish the couple who received our heart-shaped cake a happy and joyful life. If my cake brought you surprise and warmth, it brings me some comfort. However, I still feel cold about the fact that you received a cake that wasn't meant for you, and they didn't verify the situation. Your surprise and happiness came at the cost of my tears and endless regret. As for Manzke, apart from waiving the service charge, they provided no compensation. I emailed them, but they chose to ignore it completely. A lousy restaurant.
