A fantastic hidden gem. Don't be fooled by the unassuming look fo the outside the food here is top notch, particularly if Sal cooks for you off menu. Amazing stuff: cauliflower mushrooms, white asparagus with summer truffle, spring vegetable pasta, scallops and lamb. Amazing, and a lovely relaxed setting with crisp white tablecloths. Serious food and a lovely setting

Incredible experience!! Mario is one of the most welcoming proprietors I have ever met and the food...so delicious! Fresh, seasonal ingredients that were prepared to perfection while letting their flavors speak for themselves. This was without question one of the best meals I have had in LA. Please go...you will not regret it.

This is an old school Los Angeles classic.... Mario at the door (owner) and his brother is the Chef in the Kitchen (Sal) - few places have this family feeling... old school recipes and Sals farmers market wisdom. Sal is very underrated as a chef - but he doesn't pull out the tweezers here... these are wonderful portions - healthy food - and a great price value. I also love the drinks - the bar and Wine List are stacked.
