The seafood here is so fresh! The service was great also. We were constantly checked on to ask if we needed anything. We were so happy to find this gem after a long night of drinking. We will definitely take the long drive here to eat again.

I ordered the fish ceviche tostada and a shrimp empanada today. Both were absolutely delicious! The ceviche was so flavorful, perfectly spicy, and came with 2 tostada shells and a lime. It was nice and cold- so fresh! The shrimp empanada was crispy and hot! It came with extra toppings that you could add- mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, and salsa. This is a solid duo to order, I highly recommend On top of that, the service was so friendly that before I left, I tipped what I paid for my food today. Ana, the owner, let me try a chile that I'd never had before! They're so welcoming, and even the patrons eating there smiled and said hi. What a gem for Highland Park. I'll definitely be back to try the tacos, as she informed me that on Taco Tuesdays they are buy one get one free/2 for the price of one

We're in town from Tennessee and wanted to grab one last lunch before we left. So glad we did, the food is incredible, she was super nice, definitely stop here. Easy to find, a park right next to it.

I got to try their agua chiles and their shrimp and fish taco this time around. This mariscos food truck impresses me each time I come. They will be having specials on Tuesday and Thursday for the shrimp and fish tacos and also their shrimp empanadas. This is my favorite spot in North East LA.

Ana is amazing!! We ordered 2 large platters of ceviche for a holiday party, and everyone in our group LOVED their lunch!! Delicious, perfect amount of spice & pica, and everyone wanted to take home the leftovers! She had the trays ready, on time, and they were fresh and smelled fantastic! Shrimp empanadas that she let me sample were amazing - will need to come back & order those next time. She has a nice (casual) seating area to enjoy an amazing meal beside her truck.

this is definitely in the top 5 food trucks in LA.... similar menu to mariscos jalisco (which I absolutely love) and similar quality..... but the flavor profiles are a little different. Mariscos jalisco is a little spicier but I think el faro's shrimp tacos are slightly more to my liking. I still think mariscos jaliscos is the best but this is a close second and that is high praise!

Service was bad. Waited 30 min and they still got everything wrong. Ordered a tostada that comes with scallops instead they substitute it with shrimp for same price. Ordered oyster shot which they charged me for but never put it in my to go order.definitely not worth wait or the price!!!
Fire! The food and service are beyond words my boyfriend and I spent two hours tasting all the fresh fish and food. I will definitely be going back. I can't say enough good things about this place.

Stopped by on a Friday for dinner and I'm already planning my next visit. My friend and I shared the botana, michelada and paloma. The botana tasted very fresh and I enjoyed the different flavors from the various seafood items in the botana. Their customer service was excellent, they were friendly and so helpful. They have tables and chairs for customers to sit and enjoy their meal. They set up next to a park which helped us when we weren't done eating by closing time so we just moved over to a picnic table at the park.
