Have been going for years. Love the shrimp tacos and ceviche de camaron and octopus. Always friendly. Have been to the Boyle Hights and La Ciénega is my closest. Thanks for bringing it this way.

Absolutely my favorite taco truck for the moment in Los Angeles is this hard shell shrimp taco truck and don’t forget to try their shrimp cocktails…. Absolutely FUEGO and definitely worthy of a Michelin recognition that they achieved for serving absolutely spot on and reasonably priced tacos from a truck…..so give it a try and don’t forget to tip the workers because they deserve it so thank you and keep up the great job!!!!

If you get your food to go, make sure your order is right before you drive off. I ordered a camaron & pulpo tostada, got home and found they gave me a camaron tostada without the pulpo. Otherwise, good food.

This place is one of the best seafood/mariscos trucks in Los Angeles. Every tostada is delicious and welll served. There are a few other trucks in this area with a similar menu, with 2 times the wait time. Don't fall for the hype of the other guys, you won't be disappointed! Cash only. Bring $80 minimum for 4 people

Great Mariscos food truck. Everything was fresh and tasty. I got it to go so didn’t even get to take pictures of it. We ate it too fast but had the Poseidon tostadas and the shrimp tacos. Def awesome stuff. Id Come back again for sure to take pics next time. But leave review today cause it was that good.

A Must-Visit for Seafood Lovers!

We had an incredible experience at Mariscos Jalisco! We arrived a bit early and were happy to see that the Poseidón was already available — it was fresh, flavorful, and the perfect way to start our meal. As we were enjoying it, the owner surprised us with a plate of hot tacos on the house as they finished getting everything ready. What a gesture!

The tacos were absolutely phenomenal — crispy, rich, and packed with flavor. You can tell this place takes pride in both their food and their service. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home.

If you’re in the area, don’t miss this place. Delicious food, genuine hospitality, and unforgettable tacos. We’ll definitely be back!

Delicious food and very cool vibe sitting by the road eating the hard shell shrimp tacos

I think the fish ceviche was very worth getting too. One is enough as it’s fairly large (as are the tacos)

Is there a more famous taco in all of Los Angeles? This place serves the best value and tasting Mexican seafood from a truck. $3 for a large and delicious shrimp taco is too great an offer to pass up these days. For the La Cienega location, there's plenty of parking on the curb behind the truck, and service is super fast. A must try in LA!

Sweet food truck on busy strip of La Cienega. Tip: Order for dine-in so it’s already prepared with the tasty toppings, add a squeeze of lime and enjoy your tacos dorados hot as you walk to your car or sit street-side on their tables. By far….. one of the best tacos I’ve had in L.A… Be sure to check their hours before planning your visit.

This spot has been on my bucket list for a while and it didn’t disappoint.

It’s a non-assuming truck down a pretty busy part of La Cienaga. There was parking right along the curved street leading up to it but oncoming traffic is a little scary so be careful.

I got two shrimp tacos and the Poseidon for $21.90. A pretty good price for all the seafood you get.

The Poseidon is huge and a meal on its own. It comes with tons of octopus and doused in a sweet cocktail type of sauce which I didn’t really love, the sweetness over powered the seafood in my opinion. The shrimp tacos on the other hand, I could easily eat 10 of them. I’m not quite sure what’s in the filling, if it’s potatoes mixed with shrimp but it’s amazing. They’re perfectly fried and crispy but not at all greasy. It comes with a great shrimp cocktail type of soup that is not the sweet cocktail sauce the Poseidon is in. It also comes with a side of the spicy sauce which is definitely not for the weak. I’d probably just stick to these only next time. Those are enough to keep coming back.

Don't be fooled by the street and the surrounding area. I was hesitant the first time but let me tell you those shrimp tacos are absolutely worth it. I think they chop up the shrimp, Mix it with other ingredients and then deep fry the entire taco. It is served with a really fresh salsa, some avocado and it's absolutely phenomenal. I highly recommend getting at least two per person (shh I could eat four!)

The Ceviche is delicious as well however I had the mixed seafood one and it was extremely fishy. I did not enjoy it, but have since gotten the shrimp only ceviche and found i fresh and flavorful. A squeeze of lime and drizzle of the orange house made sauce and you're good to go.

I'm sure some of the other items are fantastic too, but I can't handle too much spice so I tend to stick with the shrimps ceviche tostada and the shrimp tacos. Grab a Mexican Coke while you're at it to really add to the experience.

The service is fast and easy and they accept Apple Pay which is a plus :)) Just park along the street but keep an eye on the parking restrictions. The ambience is simple. It's a classic LA food truck on the side of a busy road and there are litt plastic stools and a couple tables. It's fun it's casual. It's tasty.

Parking: Park along the street
