The line is worth it. Matcha is the best in the city.

Best iced matcha in the city! I get it with honey instead of agave and it keeps me productive and motivated for hours

I think this is Maru’s first ever branch. It’s a small place with limited seats but the coffee is always great.

GREAT people watching. Dangerously close to becoming a victim of its own success. Come early if you wish to avoid the Massive line out the front. Matcha latte comes sweetened by default it seems. So definitely ask for it without that mess

Stylish and definitely one of the nicer cafés I’ve visited in LA!! I tried the matcha latte and vanilla latte both were enjoyable, though a bit on the simple, classic side. The real standout seems to be the Creamtop drinks, which feel unique to Maru and worth coming back for. The interior is minimalist yet warm, with white walls and wood accents that make the space calm and inviting. It’s not really a spot for long stays, but great for a quick coffee break. The only downside is that there isn’t much else around the area, so unless you live nearby, it can feel a bit out of the way.

Mari used to be in a league of its own. Now the creamtop is gone, and the one drink you can get it with is completely watered down. :(

The drinks and service are better now that the hype has died down a bit. Lines move quick, don't be scared.

Maru Coffee is such a gem in LA! The interior is clean, minimal, and calming. The staff is always welcoming and helpful, making the whole experience feel warm and personal. I highly recommend the vanilla bean latte; I’d smooth, made with fresh vanilla bean , and easily one of the best lattes I’ve had in the city. Definitely a go-to spot for coffee lovers.

Popular matcha spot near downtown LA. The matcha is not sweetened and is very earthy. They use a very high grade matcha and it definitely stands out as one of the best authentic matcha spots in LA. The service is quite fast, and the atmosphere is upscale, but there aren’t many spots for sitting down and doing work. This place is better as a grab and go cafe.

Really really good coffee but the place is too pretentious. We've all been to coffee shops with cute but uncomfortable seating no need to act like you've invented something.

Decent cafe, not sure what the hype is about though. Very crowded so vibe is not the best since everyone is kinda squished. The drinks were good but nothing fantastic or different than anywhere else.
