AD-VENTURE

It's fun, it's good, and definitely worth a visit. It's close to Chicago pizza but not quite if you're used to the true thing. But make no mistake I'm not giving that a negative. It's just there's something special about true Chicago deep dish. But since we're not in Chicago this is it baby you'll enjoy it

Good luck finding a parking spot... I've had to bail out of getting Masa on two occasions because there was exactly zero parking. If you do manage to get in, you're about to have some insane deep dish pizza. It's something like $30 for a big fat cake of a pizza, baked fresh in about half an hour. Add tax and tip and it's more like $40 if you sit down. One medium deep dish pizza fully feeds four people.I repeat: that's FOUR PEOPLE FOR $40 at a restaurant. Only a classic deep dish pizza is capable of such witchcraft.Personally I don't like the Italian sausage - for some reason it cools really quickly while the rest of the pizza stays warm. I'd recommend a classic pepperoni because I'm boring and unimaginative, but they have tons of toppings and you can even have them do half the pizza one way and half another. Also, try their (reasonably priced) cappuccino! It's delicious.

I enjoyed deep fried mozzarella sticks dipped and delicious marinara sauce. Fettuccine Alfredo and shrimp was scrumptious.

Great place, one of the best "chicago-style" deep pizzas you'll try around here. We got togo, it didn't come out as good after an hour. But you can tell that the ingredient quality is pretty good. If it still tasted good, I would've given 5 star. Great ambience as well.

I have been CRAVING a Chicago deep dish pizza for a very long time. A relative recommended this place and it did not disappoint! You have to order your pizza as soon as you sit down, it takes 45 minutes to bake. Totally worth the wait, I'm so glad we have a good pizza place in LA that offers great Chicago style pizza. Yum!

Ordered take out... Had their deep dishes pizza, The original and Lot of meats. The original was my fave. Definitely would go back, but I'd eat at the restaurant. The atmosphere seemed chill and they have a bar...

Moved to LA 4-5 weeks ago and wanted some deep dish pizza, as pizza is my favorite food. I always seen people here and read that they serve Chicago style deep dish, so I had to try ir. I ordered a medium Chicago style and found it to be not so good because it had gotten soggy from all the grease/water from the pizza. I was waiting in my car, so I picked it up as soon as I got a text it was ready. While the dry parts of the crust tasted really good, most was soggy and so much. Nor was I a big fan of all the big tomatoes all over instead of sauce. With the plethora or other places around here, this one won’t be back too and I don’t recommend unless you dine in or like soggy pizza. I wish I had taken it back, showed them and got my money back.

Best Chicago deep dish pizza! Very friendly staff. They do not take reservations, but when you walk in you can ask to get your pizza started (they take around 45 minutes). Good wine list.

Amazingly good food and awesome Staff! I've been here twice when visiting LA and it's been incredible both times. The pizza is incredible and I also tried the Fettuccini Alfredo with Garlic Shrimp this last time and it was exquisite. The ambiance of Masa's is very cozy classic Los Angeles, think 1940s and earlier. I love it!

A solid Italian spot with a warm ambiance. I went for a birthday party, and we had to order the deep dish pizza ahead of time. The deep dish was cheesy and gooey but a little too salty for my taste. I did really enjoy the appetizers I got. The Manchego salad had a nice juxtaposition between the sweet apples and the savory cheese and sauce. The calamari was crisped to perfection and flavored beautifully. The garlic bread was good but nothing too memorable. I will say the deep dish pizza was huge and filling - it definitely felt like I got my money's worth. The waiter was quick and friendly. I would definitely try this place again.
