ON a mission to eat all the Korean style sashimi in Ktown. Saw that this place had 4.5+ stars and had to try it out. TBH, service was not the greatest and food vs price value was also not the greatest. While we were ordering, they continuously tried to upsell us on dishes even though we knew we could not eat that much. The freshness of the sashimi was OK, def nothing standout-ish. But they do provide a bunch of different styles of plates which was nice.

I went back to eat Combo B yesterday, and it was really sweet and delicious, and I was really surprised that the lobster was 20 dollars. The lobster was big and delicious, and the owner gave me soy sauce marinated crab and lobster soup for free, so I ate it really delicious and full

So fresh and the sushi is to die for. I definitely understand why there is such a high rating and you get A LOT of food with the sashimi small between two people.

Ordered the sashimi course medium. First comes the palate cleansers: ginger, seaweed, edamame, cucumber, etc. along with a bowl of abalone porridge. Followed by the various cuts of tuna, salmon, yellow tail, halibut, and abalone. The server brought us baked baby scallop on spicy tuna rolls as "service" which means on the house. The grilled fish, braised fish, and seafood broth was the end of the course. Service was quick and friendly. They had the Dodgers game on, which was cool. Limited parking in the back lot.

I'm visiting my friend in LA and we ordered the first thing on the menu, Combo A. This includes an huge assortment of sashimi (Salmon, yellow tail, tuna, halibut) but little did we know this includes a sashimi salad, corn cheese, kimchi soup, grilled mackerel, miso soup, kimchi cat fish, and other sides! Pretty much a buffet and the waitress was extremely attentive and made sure we were taken care of! We almost wanted to turn her away with all the food coming haha but the bill for 2 people came out to be $119+tax so it was definitely so worth it! Looks like they opened not too long ago so definitely check them out if you like Korean and Japanese food!

Awesome Korean sushi place. We ordered a XL sashimi set for a group of 4, which came with a lobster, and it was literally bottomless food. Can't count how many appetizers we got and on top of that, they gave us a couple of small dishes for free. Sashimi was super fresh and the cut was super thick. Can't get this kind of sashimi at a Japanese restaurant. My friends who have never been to a Korean sushi place were super impressed with the quantity and quality of the food. At the end, we got a lobster soup and it was delicious. It was so good that we asked for a to-go box for the leftover soup and they gave us extra soup without us asking. Great customer service! Will definitely come back!

I am totally impressed by both the quality and quantity of the food at Songdo seafoods. We ordered a small assorted sashimi combo which includes not only the generous cuts of the assorted sashimi (4 kinds), but also all sorts of cold and hot fish dishes, including an abalone, grilled salmon head, seafood & tofu soup...etc. Literally "more than we can chew" Great value and attentive service. Two thumbs up.

This place is amazing, I came here with my friend. We ordered a small raw sashimi (halibut). The lady gave us many "fresh" complimentary appetizers before the main dish. We had a good time. Omg. Definitely come here again. The parking is in the back. Very convenient.

This is not a joke. It is an amazing place for k-style raw fish and sushi place. They give you best quality fish dish, side dish and bottomless special dish service. Staffs are awesome and service in every way is so kind and treat you like a king! I went there with family and we plan for another visit already. I try hundred different place. This is top 1%. Best quality for super kind price. I recommend it for anyone! My score for their service in 1 to 10 scale (10 being top): Communication: 10 Service: 10 Kindness: 10 Deliver as promised: 10 Satisfaction: 10

Owner is very nice, food is okay. Free parking is available at the back of the restaurant.

The owner was extremely polite and gave us great recommendations. The only reason I gave this place 4 stars was that the service was so slow. It literally took about an hour for our first courses to arrive and then another hour for the next courses. So we spent a good 2 hours waiting for our entire meal to arrive. Overall, good food, but I wish the service was a little more faster.

Sashimi was very fresh and the side dishes were delicious! We ordered the medium combo with an order of live octopus and sea cucumber sashimi. The octopus was so fresh! Dip it in sesame + salt combo and put it on top of seaweed *chef's kiss* Sea cucumber sashimi was also very fresh! If you aren't familiar with sea cucumber sashimi, I don't recommend you order an order of it; unless you have friends that will share with you, it's a pretty big portion as a side. The mixed sashimi combo in my opinion was a bit small for a "Medium" but with all the side dishes and the soup and toasted rice soup at the end it's was plenty of food for the 3 of us. Don't be startled that they serve their tuna frozen, a lot of Korean sashimi places serve tuna /toro frozen; even in Korea (it's a thing haha). Everything felt so fresh and crisp! With the combo you also get a platter of seafood; abalone, squid, tako wasabi and tako su-- a little bit of seaweed salad. Depending on the combo you order you will receive oysters per person. When I go to Korean sashimi places I don't recommend eating the corn cheese and the steamed egg because... I want to eat more seafood and sashimi but ... I just couldn't help myself and reach for the corn cheese MULTIPLE times, I had to move it away from me . Nothing to complain about the service, the ladies were very friendly. I don't know how well they speak English though because... we spoke Korean. For a couple I recommend the Small combo, 3-4 is the Medium but please do consider the side dishes that come out with the combo and if you have a friend that doesn't eat much get the small and order other things on the menu. Even if you're extremely full do not skip the spicy fish stew and the toasted rice soup (this is honestly basically just boiled rice...so please don't think it's something special) It isn't as packed as other places and I actually liked how it was so loud inside, I recommend this place and I plan on going again!
